      On October 22, 2023, at 11:13 am, I purchased a $500 prepaid ********** from Food Basic store #******. Later that same afternoon, when I tried to use the card, it was invalid. I attempted to contact the phone number on the card, but it wasn't in service. I then found another number in the instructions, which confirmed the card's invalidity.
      I returned to the store and the manager provided additional numbers to contact, including one employees who supposed to take care of this matter. I called her on Monday and was told to bring the physical card and receipt to the store. On October 23 at 4 pm, upon arrival, I was informed that she had left and was asked to return the next day.
      Determined to recover my $500, I contacted the gift card vendor, ****** ******** ******** *** ****** **** ******** ** **** ********* ** **** * ******* ******** ***** ***** ******** ** ******* *** ***** ******* ****** ***** * *** ********** **** *** **** *** ***** ************ Frustrated and disappointed as a loyal Food Basic customer, I felt the store bore no responsibility for my predicament. The $500 I spent had seemingly vanished, *** * *** **** ******* ********* *** ** ***** ** **** ******

      I've made a metro delivery order from their website. After I've ordered, they increased the price for several of my items and charged me the new amount. I called to get a refund of the price difference but they refused to rectify their mistake. This is unacceptable behaviour. As a consumer, I expect the price tag I see to be the price I am charged. ********* **** **** ********* *** ***** ******** ********. I cannot trust this company for online orders again.
