      I booked with sunwings , all inclusive package from Toronto to Cancun, Mexico in July 2023. Hotel we selected was good but they serve very cheap liquor there. When I asked for the reason, bar tender told me in this package you can get only very cheap liquor. The other liquor is for another club members. this is so insulting when they told you IN front of everyone that this is not for you. On the way out here our flight was 5-6 hours late. I requested sunwings to do something, but they did not hear and do nothing. Me and my family had to stay in hotel lobby which was very hot without food, as hotel told us no food no drink after 5 pm and our pick up was 10:40. I had to survive with my baby in that condition.

      We went on holidays on July 3-10 to Domenican Republic. Before going on the trip we asked our agent to make sure my husband is comfortable, as he is handicapped. Sunwing provided a wheelchair when we got to the airport and made sure the same accomadations were on both ends. Our agent also advised that a medical note would help for him to get a front row seat , so my husband went and got one from his doctor. My husband needs extra leg room , as per his condition, when we were seated in the plane, we had seats number 3B and 3C, we notified the flight attendant, as per seating, and there was not much they can do and that point. On the way home from the Domenican we were given the same seats, we were told that the first row customers paid $50.00 extra for the seats, but if there is a health issue they would "BUMP" someone to another seat. What Im asking or stating is ....Does Sunwing only care for their extra $50.00 times 6 seats?? We did everything that was asked of us (medical note) and still Sunwing could not, or would not accomadate a Handicapped costumer. Would I fly Sunwing again?

      We were told that the flight was late by 1 hour after the check-in and then an announcement came that it was late by another 1 and half hours,and subsequently it was canceled until next morning. No hotels provided and only a taxi voucher which was not feasible as my residence is 2 hours away from the Airport and then I had to check in again at 3AM.So staying at the Terminal and see what happens in the morning. ** ******* ***** ******* *********** ** very frustrated and stressed.

      I booked a trip through Sunwing to Mexico back in January 2023, on our Sunwing flight down they offered for us to purchase an excursion at our destination. We looked over the brochure and were a little unsure if the one listed in the brochure was the the one we were looking for but were assured by the flight attendant that if it was not the correct one they could refund it at the resort or change it. So we purchased it. Upon arriving at the resort were told by the Sunwing Representative/***** Tour, that in fact it was not the correct excursion. However they offered to make it right for us, all they would need to do was charge us for the correct excursion and they would refund the purchase/transaction made in flight. Since they assured me the initial $428 would be refunded, I agree for them to charge me again for the correct excursion, another $400. The refund did not process right away so prior to leaving Mexico I touched base with the representative who reassured me the refund was coming, it had been approved and would just take some time to show up on my credit card. Fast forward 3 months, numerous phone calls and emails later, still no refund and they are now refusing to refund the $428, despite having email confirmation that the refund was approved and was being processed. So now I'm out $428!!! Sunwing has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth as this was my first all inclusive vacation. I will not be booking with them again as they are refusing to up hold their promise to make it right and return my $428 that was over charged.

      Sunwing Vacations knowingly sold and transported us to a hotel that suffered a watermain break. According to the Sunwing rep on site, the watermain break started on Saturday, 3 days before our arrival. Guests resorted to collecting water from the pool to flush their toilets. * ******** **** ******** ** *** **  I asked to be transferred to another hotel or returned to Toronto. My request was refused. Only after threatening to call the Canadian embassy and asking for an emergency evacuation were we transferred to the Grand Mutho Rainbow Hotel. This would not be the hotel of choice for my wife and I but it was far better than the situation that Sunwing placed us in. I submitted a complaint to Sunwing Cares on Feb 24, 2023 and it is now over 95 days since. Sunwing Customer Service has informed me that they have yet to investigate my claim and that it may take another 60 days or longer. Accidents happens! Responsible corporations take ownership and resolve issues such as this because it is the right and ethical thing to do. Apparently Sunwing Vacations are too busy. ** *** *** **** *********** ***** *** ****** **** ******* ******  Beware, it could happen to you.

      On February 12, 2023 I spoke with a Sunwing Representative and booked 2all inclusive vacation for myself and partner. I confirmed with the Rep all the numbers, including credits that were given to us because of the Christmas mess. I was told how much I was going to be billed on my ****. Followed by an email that included a payment information and trip information. I just received an email that I still owe $100 and if it’s not paid my booking will be cancelled. I have tried talking to customer service who over the phone told me that the base price on my invoice is incorrect, creating a balance owing. I told her that what she was quoting me was not the same amount that is on my payment summary. *** *** ** **** *** ********* ****** ** ******* * *** ** ************** I cannot get anyone to help me on this issue. If I don’t pay the $100.00 she told me my booking will be cancelled.

      Booked my vacation to Cuba on Sunwing in March, for the month of June 2023. The customer sales rep was in a hurry to complete the booking and least interested in answering questions while booking!! When I called again to inquire about the price reduction today, May 8th, another rep, Natasha, *** *** **** ******** *** was most unwilling to help out!!
      Last time I will book any vacations with Sunwing!!! Most disappointed with their staff *** ***** ******** ******* ********** *** **********

      From 7am to 7pm Construction NO WHERE IN THE HOTEL DISCRPUTION DOES IT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT CONSTRUCTION. We were walked in on both naked so humiliated. We asked if we can move to another hotel and they said we can pay$45 US/person move to *** ****** next door so you telling me I have to pay more money to get what I paid for? I think not.The food was warm at best. Every thing was mushy, over cooked *** **** * *** ******** **** *** ** *** ** ***** ** ******* I took some spaghetti at dinner and it was sour had to spit it out, raw chicken, and giant stew pots of all the left overs so disgusting. Basically the only meal we ate was breakfast and the Steak House but you had to wait in line for almost 2 hours to get a reservation. The pools were absolutely disgusting we used the beach side pool mostly and we saw 1 pool guy the entire week add something not sure what it was. We mostly went in the ocean because of this reason.
      The transportation back to the air port from the hotel..., ******* **** ***** We Stopped at 2 more resorts then our bus was full and he then went to a 3rd resort and there was no more seats. The couple had to sit in the stairwell and on the center console all the way to the airport. *** ****** ** **** We just feel that we absolutely did not get what we paid for in your discription of this hotel and feel like we were taken for almost $4000. ** ***** *** *** ******* ** ****** ** *** ****** ** *** ***** *** ** *** ********* * *** ********* * ** ****** *** * ***** ***** **** ** * *** ** ********* **** **** *** *** ***** *** ******* **** ******* **** *** ***** *** *** ******** ***** *** **** ************ ***** ********** *

      My friend and I booked a trip to Acapulco, Mexico for February 22nd to March 8th, 2023. We chose the ******* Hotel based on upgraded Service which we paid extra for and included a Continental breakfast on a lounge floor and an afternoon cocktail delivered by the staff to the room. Also included besides the Buffet were 2 à la carte Dinners a week at the ****** Restaurant which was on the property. The plane was 1 1/2 hour late but by the time we got to the Hotel 12 hrs later they did not have our Reservation. We had backup paperwork but it took a long time to sort out. They handed us an outline of all the Rules and Restrictions. One being the Continental Breakfast on the lounge floor and a One Hour afternoon cocktail which we did NOT get for the 2 weeks that we stayed. Also there were no à la cart Dinners at the ****** Restaurant which it stated on the "rules". We complained to the Sungwing Representative but they could do nothing. All of a sudden they describe it as SEMI INCLUSIVE. It was advertised as ALL INCLUSIVE on the Sunwing website. We were not allowed to eat fine cut meats or any seafood at all. The Buffet was horrible in a Cafeteria type setting and no outdoor seating at all except during the day at the Beach Bar which we were allowed a limited menu there. We could order off an à la carte menu but were also limited with that. The staff were ***** **** ** ** *** ******* ** **** *** ***** ******** ******* **** **** not informed that we could order off that particular menu. They just wanted us to go the Buffet all the time which was basically sub par Mexican food. We wrote to President of Sunwing when we returned mid March and have not hear anything at all. It was false advertising on Website when we booked and were extremely dissapointed with Sunwing. We will never ever travel with them again.
