    I clicked an ad on social media that was misleading and they haven’t stopped calling me. They called me on my phone about 10 to 20 times a day. It’s very harassing and I need to stall now.

    The ads on social media are not ours. They belong to the social media company.  Furthermore, we do not call our members.  You would need to complain to the company that owns the ad and is calling you.

    Greater Canadian Rebate failed to deliver the $100 rebate after I got approved the following credit card:

    He did receive the rebate.  It was actually paid out on May 27, 2023 via *******  According to an email from him on Monday June 26, 2023 he acknowledged he found it.

    I have two complaints against this business for advertised promotions. I have screen grabs of all marketing material/legal terms, and a full account of my "digital trail".
    1. Date of Transaction: Nov 2, 2022 (5:34am).
    - the business (GCR) committed to a $60 cash back rebate for opening a new ********** ************ Savings Account.
    - GCR is now refusing to honor this rebate
    - I opened tickets with GCR. They denied me the rebate, but can't explain why. They directed me back to the FI to figure it out. The FI has informed me that the responsibility to provide review and honor this promotion lies with GCR. No one is taking responsibly - or showing duty - at GCR, to resolve this and honor the promotion.
    - The GCR tracking # is *******. The GCR website re-directed me to the ****** website, where I completed the application, was approved, and directed to the pick up the card at the branch (which I did on the same day). I can confirm that I met all conditions listed in the promotion page, and followed all instructions.
    2. Date of Transaction: December 26, 2022 (9:11am)
    - the business (GCR) committed to a $45 cash back rebate for opening a *** Credit Card. *** is a financial institution offering many different financial products (including different credit products).
    - GCR is now refusing to honor this rebate.
    - I opened a ticket with GCR, but they are not honoring the promotion - mainly due to some terms they changed after I had applied for the promotion and opened the credit card account.
    - The GCR tracking # is ******** The GCR website re-directed me to the *** Financial website, where I applied for a *** credit card. I was called (by ***) immediately with approval. I confirm that I met all conditions of the promotion, and followed instructions. As mentioned, GCR has now changed the terms for the particular offer, and are trying to restrict my rebate due to the new terms. I have screen grabs of the terms I agreed to when I applied, and the terms updated since then.

    ********** did not credit Great Canadian Rebates for a transaction that originated from Great Canadian Rebates for the person filing the complaint.  We sent ********** an inquiry to try and get credit.  Unfortunately ********** could not verify the transaction came from Great Canadian Rebates.  They likely credited another website.  ********** refuses to credit Great Canadian Rebates for the transaction.  We complained to **********.  They decided to made some adjustments for better tracking that started in January.  Unfortunately we received zero dollars from ********** from the transaction for the person filing the complaint.  We would be happy to provide the rebate to this person if ********** confirmed the transaction and ********* paid us.  A rebate is offered only if a transaction is confirmed and we receive credit for it.

    The person filing the complaint received a credit card we do not have on our website.  We demonstrated very clearly we do not have the *** ******** *** card on our site.  He is a very difficult person to deal with.  We explained multiple times and have been patient.  He keeps pushing the matter.  No one else has ever had this problem.

    On 20/06/2022, I opened a ********** ************ Savings Account via GCR's website after they advertised a $60 rebate for opening this account. Tracking ID # *******. Today (almost 3 months later), the have come back to say they are unable to honour the rebate because the merchant could not find the account information. This is extremely poor service from GCR. The account is definitely open. They could have come to me to obtain more details after which they can go back to the merchant and get me the rebate that they promised me. But it looks like they don't want to make any efforts to do so.

    I am left with the impression that GCR is an unreliable, inefficient and slow business that does not honour their commitments to their clients.

    **** ********* ** *********  This person has been a member of Great Canadian Rebates and received many rebates.  As with all rebates, the rebate is paid by the merchant.  We are simply the delivery service.  The merchant is **********.  ********** made teh decision not to pay the rebate because the conditions were not met.  They simply use a code that said account not found.  The member is taking the code literally.  We do not know the exact reason.  That is up to ********** to offer that information.  We do know the overwhelming of applicants have received their rebate for ********** account.  Of those that did not receive the rebate we submit an inquiry to ********** to try to get the rebate by manual process.  Again, the overwhelming majority are also approved by the manual process.  The person who is making the complaint was among just a handful that did not get approved. There is good reason for ****** not to approve. For privacy reason, we do not know the exact reason.  We just gave the member making the complaint rejection code that was offered to us.   We did all we can do.
