    My 13 year old Teledyne boiler got red tagged for high CO levels after Parent tech supposedly cleaned it. After I opened top cover as per manufacturer's trouble shooting recommendations, it is very apparent boiler fins were never properly cleaned, see pics. Not disputing red tag for high *** however poor cleaning may have contributed to significantly high CO levels, this according to other HVAC companies, opinions. I have been asking for a cleaning refund since then, slow to no response from service manager. Never returns calls as promised and when he does, he side steps the issue. This is still an outstanding issue as of today. Extremely poor to non existing customer service!!

    ************** attended to a boiler maintenance appointment.  Upon starting to clean the boiler he noticed that the boiler required more maintenance than just the allocated one hour service, that his ** readings were beyond the acceptable norm and issued the red tag for excess ** plus turned off the gas supply.  In essence saved the client's life.  ************** then noticed that the client had build a wall in front of the boiler making this not to code.  We suggest that he gets the boiler replaced to a wall hung style to remedy the fact that the wall couldn't be moved. For that reason ************** did not proceed to spend the total amount of time that would have been necessary for the thorough maintenance, the reason for the pictures.  The client ended getting his boiler replaced by another company.  We collected the one hour service call for time spend on site.

    I am rejecting this response59798560114D3 because: the boiler maintenance was also performed by Parent HVAC the previous year with no issues. The said bathroom wall mentioned in Parents response has been there for 20+ year and has never been an issue. Submitted pictures clearly shows the 13 year old boil was not properly cleaned, which is what a boiler maintenance is meant to do. According to the manufacturer, an Improperly cleaned boiler will result in higher than normal CO levels, thats why annual boiler maintenance is recommended by the manufacturer. The boiler was red tagged due to higher than normal CO levels, no mentionns of wall in techs report. My argument remains the same Boiler was not properly cleaned, therefore I am seeking to be refunded the maintenance cost!!
