      On Friday, April 25, 2025 at 7:36 PM I received an email from Canadian Property Stars saying they would be in my neighborhood over next 1 or 2 days doing core aeration service. I sent Canadian Property Stars an email back on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 735 AM saying I did NOT require this service this year as part of my front yard is torn up from tree removals. At approximately 630 PM on 26 April 2025, while I was watching the hockey game in my basement and not able to hear what was going on outside, Canadian Property Stars did core aeration on my yard without my authorization. This only came to my attention when the door bell rang and a person from Canadian Property Stars said he aerated my yard and wanted to get paid for it. I told him about the emails and he insisted I pay which I said I was not going to pay him as I never authorized him to aerate my yard. I shut the door and he left an invoice which I later located stuck in my door. I sent a further email to Canadian Property stars Sat, at 646 PM on Apr 26, 2025 explaining what occurred and that I did not authorize core aeration to be done. I did not receive a response from Canadian Property Stars. I also phoned the Calgary Canadian Property stars office on 26 April 2025 but there was only a recording and I left a message explaining that I never authorized the core aeration to take ******** is hard for me to believe this Company still exists as it is totally NOT REPUTABLE.

      The Calgary property stars company in ******* responded to my email and they stated the manager on duty in the area was informed of the cancellation but did not tell the contractor of the cancellation.  A further email received from ******* property stars apologizing and saying it was a mistake and miscommunication by the manager in the area.

      I can see this happening, however when I sent an email back to the Calgary property stars company requesting the invoice be cancelled  I never got a reply.

      On the 28 April 2025 at 730 AM I contacted the head office of Canadian Property Stars and explained the situation to them.  They took all the information down and said they would cancel the invoice.  Shortly after this phone call I received an email from ******* Property Stars saying they would make sure the invoice would be cancelled. I still consider this company not to be reputable and I certainly would never use their services again.

      Please review my email messages to the BBB on the 27th and 28th of April 2025 wherein I advised the BBB that both the ******* office and main office in ******* of Canadian Property Stars were in contact with me and that they both stated I did not have to pay this invoice as there was a mix up with notifying the contractor of the cancellation.

      Please be advised this complaint has been rectified and I do not require any further investigation from the BBB.  Thanks for your assistance in this matter.

      Did a very poor job of mulching and aerating. I think the machines were in need of repair as the mulching was set to high thus not doing the job. The same for aerating their were no plugs coming out.

      On April 19th, one of our technicians completed the services at Mr. ****** property. The services were sold at the door, completed the same day, and Mr. ****** provided a credit card for payment. We train our contractors that it is 100% workmanship guarantee, and that customers should be satisfied when they are finished the job.

      On April 21st, we were informed of a complaint filed with the BBB, in which Mr. ****** expressed dissatisfaction with the service provided. Had our technician been made aware of any concerns at the time, we would have made every effort to address and resolve the issue immediately. If resolution was not possible on-site, the technician would have contacted his manager to assist in finding a satisfactory solution.

      At this time, we are no longer operating in the ***** area for the remainder of the season - our main location operates from the mainland & we service the island in a road trip format. Once we are out of the area it is very difficult to come back and we are therefore unable to revisit the property. Our resolution was to contact Mr. ****** to offer a partial refund. Upon further review, we discovered that the credit card provided could not be processed and, as a result, no payment was received for the services performed.

      While the work was completed, we acknowledge that it did not meet Mr. ****** expectations. In light of this, and given that no payment was successfully processed, yet we have already paid our contractor for the work, we consider the matter closed and will not pursue payment for the services.

      I noticed the payment did not go through. As a result I am satisfied because now I can hire someone else to do the job. For their info I did say to the technician that it did not look like the lawn had been thatched or aerated and he said it was done. Also he never gave me a copy of the bill. Had they not left a company sign on the lawn I would not have known who did the work. Previous years they have done a good job.

      On December 1, 2024, I paid Canadian Property Start for full lawn care service. The company failed to show up for the scheduled service appointment without any prior notice or explanation. I made multiple attempts to contact their customer service to reschedule the service. After several tries, I was finally given a new appointment date for the first or second week of May 2025. This delayed service date is not only unacceptably far in the future but also during a time when hot weather may negatively impact the effectiveness of the lawn care treatment. I have not received the service I paid for, nor have I experienced any customer appreciation or satisfactory resolution to my concerns. I have made multiple phone calls to the company's customer service department to resolve this issue. However, they have been unresponsive to my requests for a more timely service date or any form of compensation for the inconvenience caused.

      On behalf of Canadian Property Stars, we would like to sincerely apologize that the prepaid lawn rejuvenation services for ******* ******* at ******************** have not yet been completed in full. We value our long-standing relationship and regret that, due to unforeseen delays this season, we have been unable to provide all of the services to date.

      This years late snow and colder than normal temperatures impacted our scheduling across the BC mainland. While we were able to complete the core aeration included in the lawn rejuvenation package on March 6th, the remaining servicesdethatching, over-seeding, fertilization, and lime treatmentare still outstanding. Our limited local crew continues to work diligently to service all remaining clients, and Nariman Nobakhts property currently remains on our active schedule for completion. We acknowledge that this delay has extended beyond the timeframe ******* ******* experienced in previous years.

      Providing reliable customer service is very important to ********************, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the lack of response to this issue.

      Given that the full scope of the prepaid lawn rejuvenation package has not been delivered, I will be submitting a request for a full refund of the $330.00 ******* ******* paid, despite the completion of the core aeration service. We believe this is the right course of action under the circumstances.

      On April 14th I signed a contract with Property Stars to have Grub insecticide spray be applied to my property, either before June or in the fall. I paid by cheque $315.00 for this service. The cheque was cashed by the company on April 28th but they have yet to provide the service. After numerous calls to the company asking when they would provide the service I finally asked that my money be refunded on October 28th. I have not been successful in getting my refund.I have been getting different answers when I ask were my refund is...the cheque will be in the mail (should be there in two weeks) never arrived. Another call...need to talk to upper management team and accounting to look into this. Not sure why? The first response I received from the company was they would refund but i have since been getting the run around. I hope you can help me in this matter

      The Company's employees were told not to damage my expensive outdoor lights when doing core Aeration and Dethaching and they ended up breaking two lights. They asked me to take pictures and get a quote and send it in. They said manager would review and address issue They are not responding and staff are refusing to put a manager on the line. I have tried calling 5-7 times and sent 5-6 emails and waited four months

      I have not received any cheque from the supplier to settle this matter. As noted in his correspondence he indicated that he indicated that he sent a cheque on or around Nov 27 via UPS courier and as at Dec 11, nothing has been received. He sent that message at a time when he knew that the only way to send it was via courier (vs postal due to strike. I gave it enough time to arrive. There is no way he doesnt know my address as on contract and his team has visited my house without any direction from me.

      On August 27th, via Order # HO2024-4672 at a cost of $630.00, I received the exterior home cleaning and outdoor window washing services from Canadian Property Stars. The team completed the work at twilight so it was difficult to confirm the work completed. The team lead said to review the work in the morning and if I was not 100% satisfied to email the company and outline my concerns. There were windows half cleaned water dirt marks on the siding (where the team did not completely spray from top to bottom to remove all the dirty), untouched and remaining spiderwebs, untouched dirt, and one exterior siding area was missed.I emailed the company and provided detailed pictures. After a week and no contact, I provided a follow up email. Now, after 2.5 weeks, and zero contact, I am left to raise a complaint as this company does not respond to its customers.

      Canada Property stars offered a discount in December for pay in advance for lawn care services for 2024. They took the money. We've used their services for years. They always came in late may. This year they did not show up. Weve tried calling them but no one ever answers the phone and emailing them but no one replies. We are in ****** and just noticed on their website that they no longer offer service in ******. Our order number is ORDER SH13928. We paid $90 for aeration of our lawn.

      In last November, I have ordered aeration service from Canadian Property Star. However after I paid the order in advance, I can not reach them at all nor matter through email or phone number. I also tried to contact with them through their website: ***************************************. But I have not receive any response at all. From my point of view, Canadian Property Star is more like a fraud advertisement than a trustable business.

      Im going to ***ly directly to your regarding these messages that I cant ***ly to. The format and access have seemed to change and is making this difficult to answer appropriately. Normally, if we have issues, I receive a call from a *** to discuss the matter, but unfortunately, I havent received any either.

       

      All customers p***aying for their driveway sealing services, receive an email explaining that they will receive communication ***** hours in advance of service. As a weather dependent service, we have had several delays this season due to the rainy weather. Our service location will contact the customer to discuss delivery of service. Please note that our season runs until the end of September to accommodate this.

      Hi BBB Customer Service, I have ordered ********************************************* Star's aeriation service on Nov 26, 2023(Please find my attached receipt for more details). But Canadian Property Star never contact with me to arrange this service. I tried to contact them several time either through their website, email or phone message, but received no reply at all. On 07/22/2024, I filed a complaint at BBB with Complaint ID ******** asking your help to communicate with Canadian Property Star refund my payment. With your effort, I received reply from their General Manager **** *******: ************ location will contact the customer to discuss delivery of service. Please note that our season runs until the end of September to accommodate this." With their written confirmation, I resolved my complain. Please find my attached document for the details of this communication But until today (Oct 5th,2024), Canadian Property Star never contact with me, neither through email nor phone message. In their email to BBB, they commit their season runs until the end of September which means they supposed to arrange aeriation for me before the end of September. As the result, I do not think Canadian Property Star is a trustworthy company, and I couldn't believe they will deliver satisfied service to my home. I would like to ask your help let them refund my payment again. This time I do not accept any optional settlement. Sincerely and appreciate for your help

      Dear *** or Madam,I am writing to address a service issue with the company. On February 19, 2024, I responded to the company's advertisement for lawn aeration and rejuvenation services. Following this, I paid $500 for these services to be performed on both my front and backyard.Regrettably, the services promised were not fully delivered. While the lawn aeration was completed in March, I was assured at that time that the lawn rejuvenation would follow within a few weeks. Despite my numerous follow-up calls, the lawn rejuvenation service has not been performed.This has prevented me from being able to secure services from other companies, as each time I called the company, I was promised that the service would be completed within 1-2 weeks.Given the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund as the service was not provided, resulting in my lawn not being serviced at all.Sincerely,

      I am writing to follow up on my complaint # 21986965

      I received a message on Aug 28th that the company claimed that it issued a refund to me. I did not respond to BBB as I understand that sometimes refunds take several days to appear in my account. However, until this stage, I have not received any refund.

      I am sorry I did not notify BBB until now. I wonder whether my complaint could be reopened, please?
