Today we had Jason from bathfitters Grmbsy. He and his co-worker Robert were both ontime and very friendly. They explained everything and asked our opinion, when needed. They were both very professional but in a down to earth way. Great job! When speaking with Jason we could tell he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! Thanks to Natalie, at the desk. I spoke with her many times and she was great to deal with. Due to my health I had to reschedule and she was never impatient or pushy. She was amazing, a breath of fresh air. I can tell your staff takes pride in their work! Thanks for a great experience!

Back in mid April, I had a negative experience with Bath Fitters. Up until this point, I had always had a positive experience and wholeheartedly recommended this business. They have a lifetime warranty on their products, so I had called them to replace the tub stopper, as we have had this happen once before with no problems. This time, a young man came out and said he had to turn the water off as a precaution. I showed him where the water shutoff was, and left him to turn the water off, then go upstairs to replace the stopper. The young man seemed a bit hesitant and unsure doing the job, but finished and left fairly quickly. About 5 or 6 hours later, I went downstairs and noticed that the carpet was wet in front of the water shutoff. I opened the cupboard door to check the water shutoff, and found a steady flow of water coming from the pipe by the shutoff lever. My husband was at work, so our son had enough strength to slow (but not stop) the water flowing from the pipe. Our handyman came over and shut the water off totally, so there wasn’t any more water damage done until he could fix it. I ended up spending the night in a hotel room, and spending almost $200 in repairs. I called the local Bath Fitters office in Grimsby, and asked to speak to the manager. I explained what had happened, and he said he would talk to our service person. I talked to him again, and he said that the service person (I think his name is Chad), and he said that I shut the water off, so it was my fault. Wouldn’t he have noticed water dripping when he turned the water back on? Moot point as I didn’t shut the water off. The manager said that he was going to believe his employee over me. So, I’m just hoping that karma happens, as I’m out $400 and a lot of inconvenience. Just a warning.
