I have had my laundry done here with their wash and fold service several times. The sign says 89c/lb. When I dropped 2 bags off the owner asked me "it's just clothes, right?" and I stated, "no - there are a few blankets but they aren't duvets or comforters - just thin ones". He replied, "ok". Then when they called me to say I could pick up the clothes they said the total was $50. They had charged me $10 per blanket. I said no one had informed me of this extra charge nor do they have a sign. His wife is who I spoke with on the phone and she said, "you should have asked", she actually hung up on me while I was still speaking. When I went to pick up the items 17-07-23 the man told me "you said there was one blanket" - which was not true, and regardless he did not inform me of the extra charges. He was unwilling to take any responsibility and insisted on charging me the $30 extra. I estimate they may weigh 3 lbs, which would be .89c x 3 over the $24 they should have charged me, therefore proper total being 26.67 plus tax. I want a refund for the remainder overcharge.
