      I booked an appointment to have someone inspect my washer, and the technician showed up the next day — which I appreciated. He diagnosed the problem and I had the part replaced but the washer still didn’t work.
      I called back to get it looked at again, but was met with attitude. The woman on the phone insisted their tech was the most experienced and couldn’t be wrong, and tried to charge me for another service call. I refused to pay again for a problem that was misdiagnosed.
      She said she’d talk to her manager and get back to me by 7 p.m. — that never happened. No follow-up, no solution. Just silence.
      Based on my experience, they care more about taking your money than actually helping. *** ********* ******* **********

      Thank you for your feedback — we genuinely appreciate all input, whether positive or negative.



      But let’s be clear about something upfront:



      The key point of your complaint is “after you fixed it” — not us.



      You performed the repair yourself. And yet, somehow, we ended up with a

      1-star review (and as you said, you'd give us a 0 if you could).



      We just have one question: if you visit our website and check the services

      we offer, do you see anything listed as “diagnostic service”?



      We don’t provide diagnostics as a standalone product — we provide repair

      services: dryer repair, washer repair, fridge repair, etc.



      The initial fee covers the technician’s visit and their time to assess the issue and

      offer you a quote for professional repair.



      As with any trade — whether it’s automotive, plumbing, or appliance repair — diagnostics are

      not always 100% exact. It’s a process that sometimes involves trial and

      error. In most cases, we get it right on the first visit. When further

      steps are needed, we take responsibility. You only pay if the repair is

      successful or if you accept the estimate. If not, we refund the cost of

      the repair.



      In your case, you declined the repair we recommended

      and decided to cut corners by ordering a part online and trying to fix

      it yourself. When that didn’t work, you called us to say our diagnosis

      was wrong and demanded a technician come again for the same money (or,

      if not, your money back, I guess).

      So we should’ve sent him again for free to fix what you fixed? Doesn’t that sound a little “out there”?



      We’re

      not sure how you reached the conclusion that we should be held

      accountable for your DIY repair. After trying to explain this to you

      multiple times over the phone with no resolution, there was nothing

      further we could do.



      We work hard to earn our reputation and

      stand behind our service. We’re always happy to help customers who want

      professional repair — not just free advice or someone to blame when

      their own attempt doesn’t pan out.

      Not once did I say I replaced the part, I said I had it replaced and it’s still not working.
      Just because your website doesn’t say “diagnostic services” you still diagnose what’s wrong with a product so it can be fixed.
      In my case I had the part replaced from the recommendation of your best service tech you have and he was wrong. As per the conversation we had, all I asked is if you could send him back out to take a look at it again since obviously he got it wrong the first time. Not once did I “demand” he come fix it. Your answer was let me talk to my manager and see what we can do for another service call and I’ll get back to you by 7pm at the latest. I said fine and the call ended. That time came and went and no response from you. That tells me your company wasn’t interested in moving forward to help rectify the situation. The review was made since I was ignored. You could have just called back when promised and let me know what you could or couldn’t do and we would have went from there instead of trying to gaslight me in your response.

      The responsiveness and professionalism I received from Pegasus for my leaking washer repair was above and beyond. I called on a Saturday, the repair technician was here by Monday to assess and the machine was in working order by Wednesday! I think that is unheard of with regard to appliance repair. Adrian, who assessed and repaired the problem was a consummate professional and very kind. He has no fear of animals which was great especially with what we have residing in our home lol. A great guy and a great experience. Will never hesitate to call upon their services again and will highly recommend.

      Not happy at all with my experience. I contacted this company about a frozen ice box. They sent Adrian out to troubleshoot but he did not. Instead on arrival that the only option is to purchase a new ice box at a cost of around $500. I called him out on this at the time as I knew there was many more potential things to check. I went ahead and ordered the new box. The ice maker never started working again. I contacted them to come back. When Adrian arrived he said I would need to spend another $200 for another part. I told him I was not happy to spend any more money. He became agitated and let me know that he had to wait in traffic to get here. Like c-mon... I had to make 3 appointments, spend a morning de-thawing my fridge and freezer, and have no ice box at all now. He removed the new one. My old is in the garbage now. He refused to refund me on the spot. I had to contact their office who refused to refund me the initial troubleshooting appointment fee. I have no product or service!!! * ***** **** *** *** **** **** **** ***** ***********

      Dear *******,
      We're sorry for your "bad experience" .
      We just will let our customers judge by themselves by presenting our side:
      You called us for a faulty ice maker that was all frozen.
      We came and diagnosed the issue. Your ice maker including the ice bin was all frozen. It was one whole block of ice which means the ice maker was faulty and leaking.
      Adrian defrosted everything (it took more then an hour) and explained everything throughout the process.
      We came back and replaced the ice maker. We tested it and tested the ice dispenser - it was all working.
      You called us again and said that it is still not working.
      After we came back we realized that what is not working this time is not the ice maker itself but the motor that pushes the ice from the bucket to dispenser. (there were ice cubes in the ice bin, you just couldn't dispense them).
      Even though this issue wasn't present after we repaired the ice maker we understood the unfortunate situation and tried to find the best solution for you.
      We offered you to replace that motor for free (no additional labour charge) you just needed to add reduced price for the part around $160 (original cost $200) and we would take the loss just to resolve the situation.
      You refused and claimed that you were "scammed", talked rude to technician and started to threaten us with bad review and credit card charge back.
      We made a refund for full amount except the initial service call as we always do if repair is not successful but you insisted that you want all your money back including the initial service call (after we've been there 3 times trying to resolve your issue) and if we won't refund in full you will post bad reviews everywhere.
      Unfortunately the initial service call fee is not refundable (even with bad review threat). This is our policy. This is what you agreed to pay when you scheduled the initial service call and this is what you would pay anyways even if you'd refuse the repair in the first place.
      Hope you'll find the right fit for your future repair needs.

      Wonderful service from first contact to completion of refrigerator repair. I called at 10 am and was given a window for same day service between 1 pm -3pm, received confirmation text right away as well as another text later letting us know they would be at my residence in 35 minutes and they actually were! (1:10pm). Adrian the technician was super kind to my mother and explained repair process and what she would need step by step. He got the part we needed right away and the whole process took about 2 hrs. We have had so many horrible experiences with other companies and just the thought of contacting any institution for any service nowadays, is very taxing.Thank you so much for your curtious and prompt service. I would highly recommend your company. Integrity and fair practice is key and you did not disappoint. Thank you.

      ***** *** *********** ****** ******* I told them that I had an issue with the vent for my dryer. The gave the impression that they would diagnose the matter and resolve it. Upon arrival they now say they do not work on vents.
      When your ** dryer is displaying the *** error code, this means that you have a ventilation blockage of 80%. Explained that the interior lint was cleared and the vent needed fixing.

      We record our calls and investigated this issue.
      You called us (an appliance repair service) and complained that your dryer shows an error code *** (airflow issues) and you want us to come by and check it out.
      We explained our terms to which you agreed upfront.
      Technician examined the dryer and determined that the problem is not with your dryer but with the air duct and suggested to call an air duct cleaning service.
      *** error code means air flow issue that in most of cases is an inner issue with a dryer itself (air fan problem, excessive lint build up inside the unit, etc..).
      With your appliance it wasn't the case. We diagnosed it and we advised you on next steps you can take to resolve the problem.
      We understand that you are frustrated because you still needed to pay us for a tech visit even though we can't really help, because, unfortunately, we repair appliances, we don't clean ducts (it's a separate field and service).
      I apologize, but your claims that you told us upfront that you you know 100% that it is a air duct issue and need us to clean your duct are simply not true. You could not know that for sure before we came and did the diagnostic. If you would know it, you'd probably call an air duct company and not us in the first place.
      Regardless, we appreciate your feedback and will definitely do our best to improve.
