  My neighbour was getting roof work done last Friday Dec 13th, a member of the crew knocked on my door while I was home from work, asking if I would mind them plugging a generator into my external power. The man offered to “kick me a couple bucks.” I agreed, he plugged into my front outlet and I returned to work. When I returned home 3 hours later, the generator was on my back deck and my gate was open. The crew had entered the property without my permission to do this, and that had not been discussed. When I explained my position to the same gentleman, he said sorry and reminded me that he was going to compensate me: “Will you be home tomorrow? I’ll have an envelope for you.” No one came by Saturday or Sunday. The crew returned to my neighbour’s house Monday the 16th but did not talk to me. On Wednesday Dec 18th I called their office at 10:01. The man on the phone said he would try to find out what crew was working at that property and call me back. I called back at 4:06 and was told they still did not know, and would call back in ten minutes. They did not call back. They texted from their office number at 4:10 though, asking what day the work was done. I responded. Thursday morning I texted at 8:43 to ask for an update and got no response. I called at 12:33 and was told they now knew which crew it was, and asked what I was seeking. I said the compensation that was promised. At 5:29 they texted that one of their workers would be by Dec 20th at roughly 9:30-10 to drop it off for me. I responded that I would be at work across the road but they could leave it in the door. No one came by today, and a text at 2:45 and a call at 3:55 have gone unanswered.
