**** ** * ****** **** ************ ** ******* ***** For context I've probably been to 50+ conferences in my life, and the worst one of those was maybe a C-. This rating would apply until I went to just one of their events, earning them the ranking of F. I'm not an idealist, I completely understand if things aren't perfect. But hr.com is so unbelievably bad it does deserve it's own category. They push sales and marketing front and center ahead of learning and development. Their overall performance is poor and uncoordinated, and lacks any centralized command of information or process. They can't even get speaker systems working correctly, or spacing of event space. I made a complaint and within minutes I got a response from the CEO. This tells me they do not take things seriously. I was offered dismissive and flippant responses to my concerns. Thinking I may have been the one off base, I scoured the floor looking for any satisfied customers. I found exactly zero and probably talked to 25+ people. I asked for our organizations money back and was told someone would get back to me, but nobody did. I had to follow up, and only then was told no refund would be forthcoming. I tried to salvage a middle ground by asking for a chance to review them again if they could get us into the next conference but that was also refused. They cited the cheap cost of the tickets. Yeah.... that's obvious, and they missed the entire point. Of course it isn't about the money.... it's about the respect for your customers. I wanted to see if they would meet us at a reasonable point, but it's almost as if they took personal offense (when it's purely a business matter) to everything. Last but not least, my colleagues were very unhappy with the hundreds of spam emails we got after during and after the event. It appears they sold our information without our consent. ****** ** ******** * ***** *** **** ** **** ******** It is absolutely awful and they do not seem to care about feedback.
