    Hired AWJ to act as a general contractor for a seven figure home reno.
    At no time did we feel our interests were protected against padded quotes, quality workmanship, multiple building code violations with total disregard, argumentative to the point of being rude, submitted invoices not covered in his contract, paid in full & basically disappeared into the night.
    Huge disappointment resulting in spending far more money than necessary solely due to his abilities and character- or lack thereof.

    Failing to acknowledge work that exceeds the original scope of work is to be billed accordingly will most certainly create an argument. All framing was completed and certified by the City of ******, all work met code as per "Passed Inspections". You kept funds for all work not completed and became "acting Contractors".Over extending yourselves without contingency for a seven figure home reno can be problematic. Expecting your Contractor to perform extra work without compensation is ludicrous. My 33 years experience in the industry kept your architects and Engineers on point, without me, your roof would have been in the re-designing stage for an additional 30 days? 60 days? disappeared in the night? this is a bunch of BS as all, current and past Trades will verify.All!
