    On Sunday July 24, 2022 my daughter was playing a practice round at The Marshes GC prior to the tournament she was scheduled to play in that started July 26 until July 29. We paid $70 for the round which got rained out after the second hole due to a severe thunderstorm that went through the area. Once the storm passed the course was unplayable. When we returned to the clubhouse we were issued a rain check and advised it could also be used for merchandise in the Pro Shop but not on food or drinks. The official practice round for the tournament was July 26 and had planned to use the credit for a golf cart but they were not being provided. At the end of the tournament we looked at items in the Pro Shop to use the credit since we do not live in the area (4+ hr drive away) and not sure if we would be in the area anytime in the future. The club pro/manager advised the credit was for golf only and no refund or no exceptions. Even though we would not be able to use the rain check was given an excuse their accounting department does not allow refunds. Very unprofessional service provided by the club pro/manager and would not recommend this course due to the poor service for in this matter that was just a simple refund for the green fee especially since we don't live in the area. Now they have received free money from me and did not provide any service or merchandise.
