      Unprofessional and untrustworthy, charged 350$ for a quote while their website is saying 75$. Late and irresponsible with following appointments.

      D. Ross Renovations & Roofing was contacted by this customer to repair a leak that had been ongoing for over a year since the customer had purchased their home. Our company owner and operator, Dwayne, arrived on-time on May 8th to diagnose and repair the issue as requested. On this day he did a thorough inspection of the attic, the roof and the skylight and determined that a faulty skylight had caused extensive damage to the roof structure due to years of leaking.
      Dwayne explained to the customers that the wood of the skylight was thoroughly rotted and the plywood around the skylight area was also in need of replacement. He advised them that it would no longer leak because he had sealed the area around the skylight and gave them a Free estimate to replace the skylight and repair the damage to the surrounding roof. The customer seemed pleased with the service and asked to move forward with the installation of a new skylight which was immediately ordered.
      A few hours later the customer contacted Dwayne to dispute the fee for the estimate. It was explained to the customer that they were not charged at all for the estimate despite the fact that they were well outside of our service area. The only charge ($350) was for the repair that they had requested.
      The customer no longer had leaking and the project was tentatively scheduled for Thursday May 25th should the skylight arrive by then. On this day they were informed that the project had to be rescheduled for Saturday, May 27th, the customer seemed to be pleased with this.
      On Saturday May 27th Dwayne arrived at the home to do the skylight installation. The customer's vehicles were in the driveway but the customer would not answer the door so the project could not be done. The customer was notified that there will be a fee for our technician to make another visit to do the project and they are not happy with this.
      This customer was never charged $350 for a quotation. In fact, they received TWO FREE QUOTATIONS. We can only conclude that this person feels that roofing contractors should do free repairs and repeat visits to their home when they fail to answer their door for an appointment.
      D. Ross Renovations & Roofing has maintained a spotless reputation for the entire 24 years we've been in business. We have successfully completed tens of thousands of projects without a single BBB complaint. We are truly saddened that this customer has attempted to smear our perfect reputation with these false allegations when we have given such good service.
