    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the unexpected cancellation of my order **************. According to the cancellation email I received, it was indicated that the cancellation was made upon my request. I would like to clarify that at no point did I initiate or authorize this cancellation.

    I had been expecting the commencement of order pickup from May 1 onwards, and this abrupt cancellation has caused considerable inconvenience. As a loyal customer of Canadian Tire, this experience falls short of the standards I have come to expect from your company.

    I kindly request a detailed explanation for this incident, that Canadian Tire make this right and the erroneous information stated in the cancellation email. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with information on how we can rectify this situation.

    We have been in contact with the customer, advised order was cancelled, pre authorization from credit card removed. We invited customer to re-order and we would price match the item. Case was closed on May 3rd

    On Dec 7, 2023, I called my local Canadian Tire store that is about 6 blocks from me in ******** **. I inquired about a coffee machine I wanted to purchase and was wondering if it was in stock as I am going on 75 years old and did not want to waste a trip for no reason. I was informed that they indeed had many in stock. I asked if Canadian Tire had the same day delivery that is afforded at another bulk store in town where I could have coffee maker delivered in around 2 hours. The lady said she was sure that they did but wanted to put me threw to customer service first because they would know the details. After I spoke to the second lady in customer service I was assured that I could get my delivery the same day as it was early enough in the day for there to be no problem what so ever. I would only have to pay a separate fee of just over $11.00 to get same day delivery. So I went on line and was ordering and I see that it says same day shipping for $11.00 or so. I call back to store to ask why it says same day shipping and not delivery as I feel that is two different things and I need delivery today not just shipped on that day. I was told this is just a bad choice of words by Canadian Tire but that indeed they do mean same day delivery it is one and the same. I asked when I could expect to get delivery if I order then and I was quoted 2 to 3 hour depending on driver. After placing order I tried to follow tracking I was told I would be able to do once I order to discover that it said shipping not delivery. After a few hours and nothing I called back and this time I am told that my order will be shipped. My card was charged $120.89 and now have a hold of funds until Dec 15 I can'y use to shop for my gifts now because off. Had to call head office to cancel order store would not but now my money is tied up because of incompetence. I said I will go to store and bring my card and they can keep product and just put money back on my card and was told no. I loose money and time . !!!!!
