      Aug 15, 2023. I have attempted to seek resolution with the company's 2 head offcies and received no response at all. I went to the Great Canadian Oil Change for an oil change, was talked into thrugh scare tactics a new over priced battery. Fast forward to a day or so later, No Frills parking lot car won't start, even click. Call and they send over a technician who also couldn't get it to start. An extremely kind stranger, after trying to boost it, started checking everything and found they hadn't fully connected, or basically at all, the new battery to my car. .Thank goodness for knowledgeable and kind folks. I messaged the head office of the shop, heard from the manager of said branch and his response can be summed up in, sorry, we won't do it again and I could have a discount on my next oil change. Literally the definition of you had one thing to do, insert battery, connect battery. Truly sad thing is the technician called someone else over to check it. .I was left stranded, an older woman who was scared into getting a new overpriced battery to avoid this very situation, at the very least a portion of the "labour" charged should have been refunded. If the car which was bucking and jolting forward had of given up in heavy traffic or an intersection the out come would have been far worse. Company took no responsibility.

      Good Afternoon, I received this letter on September 11th. 

      I attempted to contact the customer using the phone number on the ******************** letter, but this number was not in service. I also was able to find the customer's invoice for the service, which showed a different phone #, which I called and was not able to reach her.

      After not being able to contact ***** by phone, I sent an email to the email noted on the BBB letter ********************* on Sept 12, 2024. I have not received any communication back from *****.

      I apologize for not replying via the BBB website sooner, I was not aware this was required.

      I've attached a copy of the email dated Sept 12, 2024.

      Ive been dealing with a family emergency all week and just getting to correspondence now. I have not received an email communication from the Great Canadian Oil Change and there were no voicemails on my phone as,again, not answering calls other than those from immediate family this week.
      The email I use most frequently is ****************** .  All emails past and present also empty junk mail in 7 days. If any unfamiliar communication lands in junk its usually gone, as Ive been hacked in the past and have strict controls on addresses.
