I have purchased MANY appliances from FW black for my business over the last three years. Every single appliance has broken within months. I gave the benefit to FW black that we are hard on our washer/ dryers but the straw that broke the camels back, was when we purchased three sets of kitchen appliances. One of the fridges did not work when it arrived (didnt cool) but we didnt notice right away as we were renovating before the tenants moved in. After speaking to service within 8 weeks of it being delivered I was told they cant do anything as its past their 7 day in house warranty all they could do was pass along maytags number. They take zero accountability for anything they sell.If youre looking for appliances go anywhere but FW black!! Save yourself the hassle

    Hi ***,

Its unfortunate that you have had this experience. Allow me to shed some insight on how the process of warranty and service has changed in recent years and why you received the response you did. Around four years ago now, *************** (Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana) changed the way they control the servicing of their brands. They decided on a more centralized approach to service. This means that any issues which happen in the first 12 months MUST go through the manufacturer. They then decide how best to handle the situation. There are some exceptions to this rule. One is items delivered that are DOA (dead on arrival) and another is immediately reported cosmetic damage. Unfortunately, the time that had passed in your particular case negated either of these options as viable. All that said, you have been a long-term client of ours and we dont want to lose your future business. I believe ****** has historically been your point of contact in the store. I urge you next time a situation such as this arises to reach out to him before completely canceling your business with us. It may not be possible for him to help but there are always things we can do to help. I urge you, if possible, to change your review of us as we have maintained an A+ rating and have been accredited by the BBB since ****. We havent done this by leaving people hanging with outstanding issues.
