My wife had a reservation at this hotel for the evening of June 3rd. This was a reunion for a large group of older nurses which can happen every few years. The room fee was set at $226.80 with an additional charge of $30 for parking. This was acceptable and was paid via a TD charge card. The next day when my wife arrived home I thought I would check my account to see if the deduction had gon through and our account had been debited.Much to my surprise they had not only taken the quoted fees but also debited our acount of an additional $50.00. My wife called the hotel regarding this fee and was told it was to cover possible damages and it would be returned within 4 to 5 days. This did not happen although no damage was done, no wild parties. My wife, ***************************** called back today to enquire again, they said again that it would be sent off, or the bank account would get credited, some time. The hotel also said they were free to take this money without telling the client. We have been scammed a few times lately and are getting really fed up with it.If the hotel feels they are free to help themselves to thier customers accounts they are guilty of fraud. This hotel should be fined or closed down for this kind of business.Regards ******************, for *****************************.

I rarely complain about anything. And never have I singled out a certain individual. But here I sit at 11pm after being awaken by the front desk to hear someone had knocked at my door and I didn't answer. They believed I was smoking in my room and a smoking charge would be assessed. I told them there was a mistake and they're welcome to come to my room at that very moment. They refused: ******** said 'we don't need to' before hanging up on me. I got dressed and went downstairs. ******** continued to be confrontational and double down on the idea that she was right and I was wrong. I appreciate that mistakes happen - but ********'s unwillingness to admit to a mistake was beyond reproach. I've traveled for work for over 18 years - this is the first time I've ever experienced anything remotely close to this sort of behavior.
