As someone who was in the building business for over 35 years I'm in a unique position to distinguish a good builder from a not so good builder and I can say Mark and his whole crew are definitely VERY good! Product knowledge, communication, organization, attention to detail and pride in workmanship are all A+ with this company from top to bottom... we are very happy with our addition and would not hesitate to hire Lanark Design/Build Group again in the future!

I had the opportunity of having LDBG rebuild a dormer on my Heritage Home Roof. They not only did a great replica of original design the workmanship is beyond perfect. This new Dormer will last another hundred plus years. Great carpenters to work with, they very accommodating and professional. Having a house built was a big, emotional undertaking, having known so little about what it entailed. The Lanark/Design Build Group team got me through a few unpleasant hurdles (not of their doing), helping me to sleep at night. Although the overall house build was quite expensive (as are all house builds these days), I feel I have a house that will last me a very long time, because **** and his team build above and beyond code and do not cut corners to save money. **** addressed any questions or concerns I had during the build and continues to do so today. He has always responded within 24 hours with a thorough answer and/or solution, even if the question or concern was outside of the scope of the work his team completed.. This is a business you can trust to complete your building project. They have a wealth of knowledge and **** happens to have a good sense of humour, which is an added bonus. ??The Lanark Design/Build Group

Mark and his crew did a stellar job. We hired Mark’s company, Lanark Design/Build Group, on the excellent reputation it has in the community and on work done on the house for the previous owner. Communications were thorough, we were appraised immediately when unforeseen issues arose, and Mark’s response to any enquiries was very timely. Invoices are clear and very well documented. The various members of his crew were all very knowledgeable and professional. We had some foundation remediation work done and a new deck installed. All work was done to higher-than-code standards and we are more than happy with the results. We do not hesitate to recommend Mark and Lanark Design/Build Group and would certainly contact him again for any future renovations.The Lanark Design/Build Group

When chatting with friends about all matters construction, I find myself referring to The Lanark Design/Build Group as "my builder"! They are knowledgeable and experienced, highly skilled, and provide valuable and timely advice. A bonus is that they answer questions I didn't know I should be asking. I am a very satisfied "repeat customer".What is important to me is important to them: attention to detail, as well as concern for sustainability and the environment in every phase of the design and build process.The Lanark Design/Build Group
