    I priced a new tractor at Mark McCabe Tractor Sales. Mr. McCabe emailed me a price. I questioned the price because it seemed much higher than I was quoted from other dealers. So I asked if that was an out the door price, he replied "Yes that's out the door price" which came to the same pricing now as other dealers prices. I gave him a $2500.00 deposit as he had to order the unit. About a month later, he messaged me and said it was ready to go, come pick the tractor up and he would send me the sales receipt later. After asking 3 times for a copy of the bill of sale, he sent me an invoice charging tax on top of the "out the door price" and did not subtract my deposit. When questioned, he told me I could remove the amount of the deposit off the total. I then questioned him about the $3400.00 tax that he added on top of what he stated was an out the door price. He told me he won't use that terminology again, but still wants me to pay $3400.00 more than the original deal. I requested he take the tractor back and return my $2500.00 deposit, which he stated he will not! I have not paid the balance for the tractor at this time. His was misleading, consumers should not force to pay more than the original agreed price.

    I am rejecting this response because: Mr.McCabe lied about the price, as stated, he claimed it was an "out the door price". An out the price means, PDI, freight, tax, admin fee etc.are all included.  The same tractor could have been purchased for $3400.00 less at another dealership, which is what I would have done. Mr McCabe was misleading in order to make a sale.
