    I have paid a deposit on 22nd for a trim and stairs job. Owner ******* decided to back off from the deal after 1 day left for the actual day they will come and work. They have taken the deposit, cancelled the work and still decline to pay back our deposit. We were well within 10 days so I also sent an email, asking for a refund, using my right to cancel in 10 days of the deal. They already stated they do not want to work on this project, then also stated because they scheduled man for the task, they will keep the deposit partially and send only 500 back from 1000 deposit. I did not accept this and found this unfair, hence asked for my full deposit. Owner ******* asked me to reach their lawyer, declining to pay me my money since then.
