    I am filing this complaint because I completed a voice-over project through Voices.com in December 2024, and I have not received payment for my work. The project was successfully delivered, and the client approved the final files. According to Voices.com's policies, payment is typically processed within a reasonable time after project completion, especially when using their SurePay system.However, as of today, May 21, 2025, I still have not received the payment, which has been pending since December 23, 2024.I have contacted Voices.com multiple times through their support channels, including email and platform messages, but I have not received any satisfactory response or resolution. I have verified that my payment information is correct and that the job was completed following all the platforms guidelines.I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and the delay in fulfilling a basic responsibility: paying a talent for completed work.I am seeking immediate payment of the funds owed to me and a formal explanation of the delay. If the situation is not resolved promptly, I will consider taking further action.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    This is exactly the same complain like other complainants who submitted 10 videos for their 100$ Project . It was on March 14th when I had submitted the videos and since then have been following up with them multiple times , and got a reply just once in early April and early May giving same excuse of huge volume. Its July now and again there have been no reply by them on multiple follow *** and complaints . They have been ghosting constantly and now it seems that they dont want to pay on this ,which is not expected from them as they have made all their past payments on time . This is the first time they are doing this to people who work for them . I am shocked as they have also ghosted me . Have been with them since a decade and this is the first time they are not paying or replying for just 100$ . I guess their reputation i much more than this . For future projects, we are working on making the submission process even easier and clearer, to save those who are submitting work and time. We are also working to make the corrections process smoother, so people are kept up-to-date on their submission status.

    By now you should have received a communication from Voices and unfortunately your files did not meet the spec requirements for the project. While we wanted to approve as many files as possible, the requirements of 4K, 60fps video, low background noise, and good lighting indoors and outdoors were not negotiable. A member of our team has now emailed you directly. We appreciate your patience.

    I am rejecting this response because they are now replying that the the requirements of " 4K, 60fps video, low background noise, and good lighting indoors and outdoors " were not me , This is absolutely False and the 10 videos submitted fulfilled every thing mentioned . I still do have those videos still with me and can it fulfills all the requirements .There was no reply from them for months on this and now they come up with this false claim .I have been in this work since 16 years and I know very well about the requirements they have mentioned . Its not about the 100$ ,I am more disappointed with them ghosting the mails and now again with this false claim . If they meet ,then I can show them how perfect the requirements were met .

    After 3 rounds of demo re-recordings, I was awarded a job by Voices in late December. They gave me 3 days to record 22 pages, which with my busy travel schedule meant I would spend 7 hours recording on New Years Eve in order to deliver by Jan 1. During this time, NOBODY from their team reachable by phone to clarify on any points of the provided instructions which are INTENTIONALLY VAGUE and MISLEADING. Additionally, the specs for this job were NOT included in the original job post, and required the hiring of a recording studio which cost more than the project fee I would collect. The instructions were to deliver a total of 5 assets, including a 15min video featuring the read of the scary story script. Original video instructions are attached below. I worked diligently to follow the instructions provided and deliver the highest quality of work possible within the 3-day delivery window. I was paid by Voices via PAYPAL 51 days after I submitted my deliverables, signaling that my work had been "approved by their client" as stated in their instructions.I took the loss as a ****** and was excited to never have to deal with Voices again. However, for the past 4 months, I have been repeatedly harassed with intimidating emails from various male members of the voices team, demanding that I deliver additional work for FREE claiming that the video is missing paragraphs. This is exactly why, in the world of professional VO contracts, deliverables are always measured in WORD COUNT instead of runtime. But not at the shady organization that is Voices. I'll never work with them again and advise the highest level of caution to all fellow artists.

Payment was released to you when revisions were still needed on the work you had submitted, and attempts to contact you to complete those revisions were not answered. We've attached the letter recently sent to you from our VP of Customer Operations, which outlines the seriousness of the situation and the importance of fulfilling the terms of the contract. We've included a copy paste of some of the letter below for your reference, and attached it as a PDF.

    Excerpt from letter:

    It is imperative that the revisions be completed and submitted by Thursday of this week,
    June 20th, 2024, without exception. These revisions are not optional; they are
    fundamental to meeting the standards we expect and fulfilling our contractual obligations.

    Failure to meet this deadline will result in the immediate request for the return of the
    funds we have disbursed to you. This decision is non-negotiable and is in accordance
    with the terms of our agreement.

    At this stage, this issue is with our legal and finance department, so there is nothing further we can do until the revisions are completed. We have made an update in our system to ensure you don't receive any other communications from Voices outside of that concerning this issue.

    I trust that your legal department has a solid understanding of entertainment law, which defines a "revision" to be out of scope when it exceeds the boundaries set by the original contract or agreement without proper authorization or mutual consent. 

    You hired me based on the natural speed of reading demonstrated in my demo and I agreed to deliver a 15 minute video, as part of the deliverables outlined in the agreement. I have delivered the assets as promised and have no further commitments to your project at this time.

    Voices.com recruited me to do some videos with a promised payment of $100. I sent them the videos they acknowledged receipt and now theyve been ghosting me for a weeks. Avoid this disreputable sham company.

Once they've acknowledged receipt, there is still a second review that needs to take place to ensure the videos meet all the specifications. They've now looked at yours specifically and it looks like some have been approved and some have been rejected, which means they need corrections. Someone will be sending you an email shortly regarding those that need corrections. There will also be a payment email coming out to participants in this project, and as of right now Voices is still meeting the May *************************************** all the job listings for this project.

    8/18/22 there is a pending transaction from Voices.com in the total amount of $499.00.
    I have been trying to reach customer service because I have been trying to cancel my subscription and close my account for a couple week to no avail. On the website they supposedly give you an option to request to close your account but when you click cancel my account. A pop up shows up saying that one of their team members would soon get in contact with me within two days. I never received contact and not even a voice message. I wake up this morning with an alert from my bank of a large transaction and find out that voices.com still processed that amount to which I never wanted to happen in the first place. I have been calling them since last month and I have been trying to reach them and it always says that there is no one available right now..I want my refund and I want them to close my account. They should make this option easier for customers.
