Issue happened last Saturday March/01/2025 at the Dollarama store on ************************************* S., ***************, **. I happened to purchase that day a hat for my son (see attached receipt), however after I left the store, went to my car and checked the hat, it was damaged/defective in the inside. So, I came back to the store to ask the attendant to either replace it or return my money, to which this lady by the name ****, told me that it was too bad, she did not care and was not going to do anything about it. I then asked to speak with the store manager, so another lady came to speak with me, however this lady (do not know her name, since she denied providing it) also simply said that Dollarama did not refund or exchange anything, and again it was too bad so sad but I was not going to get anything. I was so disappointed and astonish by the fact that Dollarama just sold me a product that I never used, since it came damaged, and was not holding or practicing good business ethics standards, neither was taken responsibility for wrong business practices. Now, to make things worse, this lady "****" had the audacity to threaten me with calling the police to kick me out of the store, because I was claiming my rights that I should have either the product exchange or return my money. I got very frustrated and annoyed, and told her to go ahead call whomever she wants, since I was not afraid of the police or whomever, and that I was actually going to wait for them to come. So, she indeed called several security guards that came and escorted me out the store, this was very humiliating and disrespectful to me, I am no criminal to be treated like if I were one, neither I was doing anything wrong. I was claiming my rights, but I did not know Dollarama can do just whatever they want and nothing happens!
