  On 26 July 2022, a gentleman identified as David T******* of David T******* Contracting, attended my residence and offerred to resurface my driveway. I was not seeking this service, but my driveway did need some work. He stated he was in the area doing some other jobs and had an over run in materials and his crew was idle. He could have them on site within 20 minutes and they could start right away. He quoted a price of $2500, to include scraping down and grading my driveway, removal of any grass, filling with 3 inches of recycled asphalt, rolled and packed to form a solid, stable driveway. I could then have it sealed. He stated the driveway would easily handle my camper trailer and all my vehicles. He further stated he would like payment by cheque of any kind unless I could run to the bank. The crew showed up quickly and got to work. They did an excellent job preparing the driveway. 2 dump trucks arrived and began dumping the material on the driveway to be levelled and rolled. I noticed the material was very fine, like sand and questioned this with the crew. They stated they usually work with much courser material and seemed surprised but stated it should pack nicely. When the material was all rolled , the driveway actually looked quite good. The salesman, David T******* ( Jr ) attended to hand me an invoice for $2500 plus GST totalling $2825.00. He thanked me and stated his dad, David T******* Sr, would come around the next day and seal it up for about $500. The next day around 2:30 pm, the driveway was sealed. Mr T******* Sr quoted $600, but stated he would do it for $500 cash. With the help of a female assistant, he completed the work, took the $500 cash and stated this should last 2 - 3 years before any more work might need doing. The driveway began washing away the next day. Too soft and the surface broke through half inch when you walked on it. Trailer cut ruts into it. He failed to attend after many calls. Dad appears to be in charge.

  On 19 of July,2022 David (David T******* Contracting - call display Said George T*******) knocked at my door and offered to asphalt my driveway with $2,500, he said he had an overrun material from another business, he wanted to start in half an hour because the material set on the truck. We agreed and they did the work.
  As I was at work and not at home when they finished work, my wife told me on the phone the driveway is soft and rough, and the gravels are not together. David met me in Orillia for payment, I told him the problems, he explained the gravels / pavement would stick together after time, and he would come back to seal it and will look very nice, he asked $2,500 cash. He refused to accept a e-transfer (and refused a bank draft). He wrote on the invoice / receipt that he will come back to seal it and warranty 4 years, promised he will come back on 21st of July (Thursday), then I paid him $2,500 cash.
  On 21st of July, I texted him when they will come back to seal it, he replied that his Dad will come on certain time, I told him after 4:30 will be great! He didn't reply. They didn't show up and I called him, he didn't answer. He is not answering the phone and not reply anymore. Then I find there are so many complains about the company online and realized it's a complete scam.
  It has been 6 days since they finished work, we dare not to park and even walk, it's very rough and the gravel spread everywhere, it starts to wash away from rain and very mess.
  I want them to come back to seal it and or give all my money back.
  I am also shocked he can keep cheating people from last year without action. Local Authorities need to get involved to see if this an acceptable business practice or individual behaviour.
