    I am very disappointed with the service I received from Finan Home Services. When the technician came to estimate the cost of repairing my air conditioner, he failed to notice frayed and chewed wires before turning the unit on. As a result, the fan motor sparked and shorted out. Despite this oversight, the company quoted me the cost of replacing the fan motor and refused to take responsibility for the damage. When I called the business, their response was simply, "He didn't do it on purpose." The representative on the phone agreed to look into the matter and get back to me. However, the next day, I received an email stating that the technician followed all normal steps correctly and that they were not prepared to offer any discount for the part. This experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. I expected more thorough and responsible service from a professional company. I will not be using their services again and would not recommend them to others.

    Professional, friendly and efficient! Our furnace and AC died they did an excellent job. I particularly liked that they were respectful to us and our home.

    I was quoted around $2000 to replace the evaporator in my A/C unit last fall. When the technician looked, he said to contact Finan Home Service as it was under warranty.
    The Finan tech arrived and told me it would be $2300 up to $2900 to replace the evaporator. This was before he looked at the furnace and realized that it was under warranty.
    An evaporator costs $1200.00
    Finan Home Services charged me $2000.00 to replace the part and did not deduct the cost of the evaporator.
    So 3.25 hours of labour works out to over $600 per hour? seriously?
    I have asked for a detailed bill explaining the charges, but Finan refuse to provide me one.
    I have asked for a refund for the $1200 evaporator (plus taxes). Finan has not responded.
