    I hired RS Home Solution for a concrete patio. Initially, we were pleased with all communication and prompt responses. We allowed him to smaller jobs in April and we anticipated no problems. This went down hill in May, once the patio was done and as soon as we paid in full. We had agreed to work with the flaws in the patio for the season to determine if we could manage without corrective action and revisit it at the end of the 2022 season. We had this in writing. Nothing. From August to October, I have reached out. He has not returned calls or texts asking him to call to complete a very simple solution. I even aksed him if he was avoiding me, nothing. I am now compelled to inform others of my disappointments. When he did two other jobs before the patio was started, and there were minor issues, I should have known to withold payment at that point. Prompt service, yes. Site cleanliness, very poor. I had to hire a cleaner for the black dust blown into my house from the release agent, which was washed off with no attention to my fully open doors, bringing clouds of black dust into my house. Outside, I spent hours/weekends picking up the site, removing cigarette butts, debris, actual garbage, broken tools. He ran out of a product and borrowed it from my neighbour, which I repaid after I discovered it in my yard. On completion, he had to be firmly directed to come remove large chunks of concrete slurry overflow which were too heavy for me to lift. He said that was "restoration", but he came at my insistence. I wish I could recommend. I thought it would be much higher service based on my initial impression. The other two smaller jobs also completed also resulted in huge clean up for me. I conveyed this to him. I hired someone else to complete the work which he did on these two smaller jobs. I was willing to, and did work hard with this contractor, but I regret not witholding payment. We paid in full and were left on his word to return. Don't be misled by this contractor.
