    The cost of the move was exorbitant and slow in arriving with many excuses for the delay. A proper estimate was not done, and additional charges kept being added. There were many damaged and broken items in my contents. The boxes were nicked, misshapen, squished, and bent. Some of the furniture was also damaged. Not only were my contents misplaced but also handled with disrespect, carelessness, and disregard of doing their job properly.
    When unloading, the movers kept bringing me other people's contents for a while. Seems that a proper BINGO was not done as the appropriate documents were on my kitchen counter throughout the unloading. The claim department stated that the items lost were checked off at the time of delivery even though I disputed this situation. They then included a false form, which was not signed by me, that was not used in the initial pick-up move and the ones sitting on my kitchen counter. The actual claim was only for $122.14 Unbelievable!!!
    This is not the way to treat customers.
    The claim forms were lacking in proper reporting, and the assessment review of the move questions showed a total lack of respect for the customer. It seems that wearing a company uniform is most important regardless of what is done while wearing these uniforms or not wearing uniforms.
    To be fair, some of the employees were doing a good job and following procedures which need much improvement. It is the overall experience of the many frustrations encountered that makes the experience so unpleasant.
    The main issue is not monetary here, it is the total lack of responsibility that is so frustrating.
    Seems like management of the many 'a Canada Moving Company' need some very basic moral instructions. They deserve only many negative review stars.
