      Rachael at Dickenson is a gem and DPM is very lucky to have her. She is on top of every request that we have had and we are delighted to work with her.

      Horrible condo management. We have had several issues with the ‘work/updates’ Dickenson has made to our condos. Most notably the elevator went out in mid August 2022 and still not fixed as of end of March 2023! “Waiting on parts, delayed shipping, ordered wrong parts” seems this is a common issue for Dickenson as they obviously hire unskilled businesses to handle their building repairs. Not only can they not be trusted to find the right people but they are full of excuses and always quick to pass the blame. This hasn’t stopped them from increasing condo fees or cashing our cheques during this time. Absolutely appalling the way they handle complaints from their residents. I was told to ‘find other living arrangements’ during this time! I was unaware that purchasing a condo would involve also renting another location due to consistent failures of Dickenson Management! I’m not sure how anyone could be asked to spend ridiculous amounts of money on renting for an underdetermined amount of time but also expected to pay increasing condo fees and a mortgage at a place they can’t access!!! Dickenson has had multiple chances to step up but continue to fail to even meet basic needs of those who live in their buildings. ‘Top management company in London’ well if that’s true I’d hate to see how much worse the second and third are. Dickenson Management has not only taken away our independence but our quality of life while collecting a heavy paycheques from each of us. They should be ashamed to have their name on any condo. Has Covid not punished us enough? I guess Dickenson feels it’s their turn

      We understand your frustration and genuine irritation over the repeated delays caused by ********* Elevator and the TSSA strike.  We are sorry you have been terribly inconvenienced by this.  The Board chose ********* based on a recommendation from the consultant hired to oversee the work.  Our office has been working as hard as possible to move the project along, but have seen major delays at all ********* modernizations this past year.  We are equally frustrated and are working to see if any compensation can be sought from ********* because of it, on behalf of the Corporations.


      The Corporation is bound by the Condominium Act to collect the common element fees on a timely basis and the Board makes the decisions for the maintenance on site.  Dickenson Condo Management is hired as an agent for the Corporation, to enact the decisions of the Board.


      We continue to work as hard as possible to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, but we can assure you that ********* deserves your ire, not DCM.

      I can appreciate you are working hard and looking for compensation, however your response as a Management Company has been appalling. To tell owners to ‘find other accommodations” is insulting to say the least. During this time you could have stepped up and made changes/ hired staff. To ask owners to move out during this time and pay rent on top of mortgages and ridiculously high condo fees every month is crazy. I also realize the condo board makes the decisions on what work gets done but since Dickenson has taken over we’ve had the majority of our board members leave. I believe right now we only have a one or two still on. There is bigger issues living here under your management then just an elevator companies failures.

      1. does not take the comments/facts of Condo owners -Customers-to correct or resolve the dispute.
      2. Management Deals indifferently with some kind of superiority with customers.
      3. No individual alerts to notify customers for condo fees payment or reminders.
      4. Unfriendly attitude to customers.
