    Highpoint Property Management is the condo corporation that represents my condo building. I own a dwelling in the property. They hired contractors to replace the windows for our entire building and aren't adequately representing us and doing their job. My windows were installed last fall of 2023 and all winter I had issues. There was excess humidity and mould growth on the drywall and caulking around the windows that was installed by the contactors. I was led to believe for months that they would be fixing and removing the mould. The condo corporation should be pressuring the contractors to fix my windows but they are refusing. My windows and surrounding mould is covered under the warranty but they are leaving me to fend for myself.To make matters worse, they have also refused my request to have a contractor remove the mould. This is why i have indicated there is a health risk because of the mould I am not allowed to have removed.Highpoint propety management has completely failed the owners of River's Edge Condominiums and myself at ************************************This is a multi-million dollar project that has caused my monthly condominium fees to go up for the next 3 years. It has also required my condominium to take out a substantial loan. My livelihood hangs in the balance while Highpoint Property Management benefits.************************* who is the president of the company has also boasted on social media about the success of the project, completely betraying the trust and concerns of the owners she is bound to represent.

    The above management team was to provide us with new windows and th job was to take a few days.My project started in Oct 27, 2023 and has yet to be completed. We are not permitted to contact the construction company yet the manager of ********** takes our condo fees and increases them but will not return calls or information. My windows are still not done. It is Feb 9, ****. I have had to move my family out since Oct 27 (at my expense), was not able to have a Christmas tree and have had my furniture covered and pushed against the wall for 5 months!!!! Workers walk all over carpet with dirty boots, dot. Speak English to explain and no one is accountable or cares!

    This corporation is older and is going through a building envelope renewal project. Since 2019, the Board has been discussing and moving toward outside coating and new windows for the entire building. At the beginning, there were some delays due to COVID & further delays, due to the supplies for windows, however the project is on its way. The outside coating was finished and the window installation for 224 units is just getting completed. The contractors, KIB,  are now working on the interior repairs, for the units and building.

    The Board hired a project manager, ****** Engineering, to oversee this project. At the beginning, ****** put out a tendering proposal to five companies and the Board chose KIB as the contractor. ****** focus is to oversee the project ensuring the timing is being kept and the project is being completed, as per the drawings and scope of work, that are agreed upon. 

    HighPoint Property Management is the property management company. Our roll in this project is to communicate with the owners and send out the schedules. ****** produces the schedules and sends to HighPoint for distribution to the owners. Owners are encourages to contact HighPoint, for any concerns, however we send them directly to ****** to track and work with KIB to repair.
