This company sends emails and fake workplace training invoices for services not rendered. It appears to be a scam. In 2018 they tried this same attempt, and eventually stopped. I've requested again that they stop ending fake invoices.

On January 17 I received a call from **** from E-Workplace training asking for the person in our business responsible for occupational health and safety stating that legislation had changed and our employees need to get new training to be in compliance with the new rules. I offered to take a message and **** then asked for our contact person’s name and when I said I wouldn’t give their name, he became very aggressive and used phrases like “look I gave you my name so you should give me theirs”. I refused as I **** could not provide which Government agency he was calling from (as he eluded to). I asked if E-workplace training was a privately owned or gov’t owned company. He told me that didn’t matter and I should give me my employee’s name as when they called him back he wouldn’t know what company they were calling from. Again I asked if his company was gov’t. He didn’t give a straight answer. Eluded to compliancy department and was rude, pushy and offended in his answer.

He then proceeded to bully me with I was being difficult and he had been transparent in giving his name and number. And said “fine then when your person calls I will just have to find out where they are calling from”. I let him know that we wouldn’t be calling as this sounded like a scam. I wished him a good day and he hung up on me.

After I looked up online that E-workplace Training is a private company and is NOT a government agency. **** was misleading (said it was in regards to the Canadian Labour Compliancy Department) which is untrue. **** was rude and a bully trying to get me to give out private information in order to sell us training. I looked up any gov’t agency that E-commerce training might be apart of and they are not.

Was bullied into purchasing training through e-workplace training inc multiple times. I was told that it was required by government to purchase their programs. I said to send me more information via email and they did, along with an invoice. They called me again this year. Bullying my employees when I was not available to speak to them. I agreed to purchase training this year (over the phone) (because I was told that I was required by government, to purchase this service from them!!) and then I get an email saying that they had been tirelessly trying to reach me about the details, it was the first email I had received from them. I didn’t think a company would do such a thing. For whatever reason I just had a fleeting thought that maybe I should look this business up. And low and behold, I’m not the only person that has had issues. I have no problem supplying my staff with proper training, but I think that they need to take some training themselves. Stop bullying your customers. I am absolutely appalled by the way I have been treated, lied to… it’s gross behaviour.
