  Avoid this place at all costs. They sold me a vehicle that was UNSAFE AND NEVER SHOULD HAVE PASSED A SAFETY INSPECTION. The *** took my plates because it never should have passed a safety inspection.I have had nothing but constant issues since purchasing my vehicle from here. It has been sitting for a year and I can't drive it while I am still making payments on it. I've owned it for just over a year. I was only able to drive it for 2 months before the *** took my plates.They also told me before the *** took my plates that they would fix all my issues. They had my car for TWO WEEKS without offering me a loaner. I work 40 minutes from where I live. When I received the car back after two weeks of CONTINUOUSLY calling to check in and getting no reply, I realized that they had done NONE of the work they said they would. I also confirmed this with their transmission specialist who said it sat in his lot for a week before anyone came to collect it and he did no work on it at all.I have tried to resolve this issue, but they are absolutely unwilling to work with me. I am now stuck paying for a vehicle I can't drive, with repairs estimated at $6000 a year ******* as fast as you can from this place.

  I bought a truck and when I went to pick it up the wrong truck was there waiting for me. The salesman argued that it was the correct truck because of the ***** Within 24 hours there was white smoke coming from the tailpipe. Had it towed back to 5 Star and explained this to the manager who suggested I leave it there for the weekend and the shop would contact me on Monday to say why there was white smoke. I didn't get a response for 3 days. I went back to their shop and they said they completed a compression/leak test which was normal but there was no proof they even did the test. Drove it home and there was more white smoke and the engine light came on. Took it to another dealership and found extensive engine problems that would eventually lead to engine failure. Over the course of 3 weeks I have driven this truck four times, the rest of the time it has been in a shop. Had truck towed back to 5 Star Dealers and they said they would forward this information to the owner whom has not contacted me,

  August 19th I traded my 2015 dodge journey with 94000 k on the odometer for a 2015 dodge Ram 4x4 pick up truck so my wife and I could buy a camper and spend summers relaxing and camping .
  I’ve driven this truck a couple times the first time it stalled doing 124k in the passing lane on the 403 I had no brakes and no steering it was all I could do to wrestle this truck off the highway and not get killed by fast approaching transport trucks my wife nearly had a major anxiety attack it’s scared us pretty bad after the truck slowed to about 15 kilometres per hour it restarted by itself then dropped from drive to 6th gear by itself , I contacted 5Star and returned the truck suggesting I want my journey back they can have their truck back and was promptly told NO that’s not how this goes here after multiple excuses reasons why this truck that I’m stuck with isn’t fixed after 4 months of everyone telling me to be patient I want this nightmare over with, I’ve told them I want a truck at this point I’ve been frustrated beyond reason DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE its not worth this much frustration and excuses.

  Upon a recommendation to 5 star dealers, I called them for a car. They told me that they would apply for financing, an hour later they called me back. Said I had been approved for 20,000 dollar limit and to pick out a car.. they asked for a copy of my license and pay stubs. I went through the site, picked one out. They drew up the paperwork, I sent over my documents. They sent me the lease for the car. Which was a 2019 Nissan Sentra. Starting price was 23,995. At the bottom line it said 63,155.76. Almost triple the cost. After reviewing and signing I said no Thankyou… they tried to argue with me for 3 days saying financing had already been approved and they had the funds until I told them I was reporting to BBB, they also knew that I was a g1 driver and couldn’t get insurance on the vehicle and therefore it would be sitting for 2 months before pick up as insurance is required. Upon talking to the lender they “went through” I found out the financing had in fact NOT been released nor approved yet. Upon threats of BBB they shredded the paperwork and called me an hour after to tell me that they had scrapped my file and were “sorry for the inconvenience”. **** *** ***** *** ******** . Would NOT recommend whatsoever

  My nana was just hospitalized and diagnosed with dementia. I have to relocate to Chatham to help take care of her as my aunt works full time and can't afford to go off work. I won't be able to keep my job which means I won't be able to afford the car.

  Got lied to: was told twice that review for financing would result in a soft inquiry, not a hard inquiry on my credit: I was also discouraged from "shopping around" as "other dealerships" don't do soft checks like them. Had a notification the next day of a hard inquiry on my account.
