Hire her in June for a garden makeup, she gave me an estimate of $3056.55, she name some of the services that she's done but many others she should have done remained undone. She's a friend of my son, I trusted her, I'm 73 years old and things are sometime foggy and forgetful. I received another two bills, one for$ 548.05 and another for $406.80, I've paid them all, the work was done in approximately 35 hours, this includes some help from her mother, when I finally gather all the invoices together I was shoked, I've paid $ 4011.35 for no more than $ 35 hours aprox. She charges $45 per hour. When I conctac her she said that there's hidden hours, and she claims that she had done work that remains undone, this undone work is in the open, everybody can see that it's not done, and yet she keeps on saying that she did it. According to what she charged me and the amount of hours she work it comes to $ 89 per hour. I've asked her for a minimum of $1500 she ignored me and keeps on telling me that she did the work and the hours. It's a lie.she would come for 2-3 hours and not everyday, and everting I've said about the work she supposed has done but she didn't do can be proved in one of her emails she writes about specific things she has done, this is a lie that everyone can see

    Business Response

    Date: 27/08/2022

It is unfortunate to hear that the client is now unsatisfied with all the work completed.  We strive for %100 customer satisfaction.  She was very pleased when the job was complete and paid promptly.  As the job was in progress, she added many tasks to the job, such as pruning the 20' maple tree, power-washing, spraying the front, side and back of the property and adding additional shrubs and perennials.  I had provided an estimate for those tasks, as requested, and with her approval, we performed those tasks.  She was present on the property as I worked.  The entire cost of the job came in very close to the estimate I gave her.  And she is not taking into account tax.

It wasn't until she learned that I was moving to another province(for personal reasons) that she became dissatisfied.

I am rejecting this response because: Once again she's lying, she left without saying anything to me, my son told me, but it's because the amount she charged me , it came to $ 4011, she was no here for more that 20 hours,( although I've wrote 35 hours)that comes to more that $ 115 per hour, she was the one asking me if I want to have  this or that done, and keeping adding to the bill, by comparison I had 2 proffessionals landscapers to fix her mistakes ,the shrubs, the pruning , cut a cedar and a maple tree, and cut shrubs on the side that she didn't do, these shrubs were also full of weeds.

By comparison these two professional landscapers were here for 8 hours (two of them, 16 hours total) and they charged me a lot less than she did.

I can prove everything I've said

    ,

    Sincerely,
