I purchased a vehicle with a full safety certification from Patterson’s in April of 2023. It was purchased with a 3 month warranty. For the first 6 months, I barely had the car in my possession as it was constantly in the shop for repairs. Most of these repairs were covered by the warranty as they were never resolved from the time I purchased the vehicle. The most concerning of these repairs were, but not limited to: 1; a 3”x4” hole in the driver’s side floor (which was repaired ) 2; constant leaking in both the driver’s compartment and the trunk (which at this time, has still not been repaired.) Other problems that we’re supposed to be resolved by the dealership include: 3; a new hood latch and release cable ( which was replaced, but needed to be replaced again at my expense a few months later). 4; drivers side door lock/handle. Was repaired but broke down the first time the lock froze in the winter. There were numerous other minor repairs done to the vehicle where parts were not installed properly, broken or missing all together after I received it back from the shop. Since the beginning, I have asked for copies of invoices from Patterson’s for the work that has been done on the vehicle. I have still been unable access to retrieve all of these documents from them. Back when the hole in the driver’s floor was found, I asked Patterson’s to offer me a suitable replacement for the car as I had lost all confidence in their ability to fix the vehicle to the standard they had implied it was in when I purchased it. Plus the issue that a safety inspection that was preformed on the vehicle was obviously totally inadequate. This being well within their 3 month warranty timeframe. Patterson’s assured me they would repair the car and/or honour the warranty until they do so. We are now reaching the one year mark as to the date I purchased this vehicle. Patterson’s has not fixed the leaks in the cabin and are refusing to honour the original agreement of the warranty.
