    Constantly receiving calls from this company trying to collect money from an individual that used to have my phone number. I have told 4 separate representatives that the person they are looking for has not had this phone number since April of 2024. Each representative states they will note their file and stop calling me.

    They are calling my work cell phone during my business hours, causing interruptions. Despite several attempts to get them to stop calling me, they continue to try and collect money or demand I let them speak to the individual they are looking for or have me give them contact information for a person I do not know.

    Iristel is a wholesale telecommunications provider, and we supply millions of phone numbers across Canada and globally. These numbers are primarily sold to partners who then resell them to end users. Once a number has been sold, we no longer have control over how it is used.
    If you’ve found that a number linked to Iristel appears in a search, it only indicates that the number originally came from our inventory. It does not mean that Iristel is the one making the calls.

    Here are some steps you can take to address this:

    Block the Caller: Most mobile phones and VoIP services allow you to block specific numbers. This is often the quickest way to stop unwanted calls.
