    On April 23rd, 2022, I purchased a ticket online through their website for an event/accommodation taking place on September 9, 10 and 11th, 2022. I paid $563.87 plus an additional $44 for cancellation insurance in case there were any work or family reasons I could not attend as I am a single mom also caring for my elderly mother. In August 2022, I was starting a new job and would not be able to take the time off for this event. I emailed them on August 15th, 2022 to notify them I needed to cancel and was requesting a refund since I was not able to attend due to work schedule. At that time my mother was also not doing well and I needed to be in town (she ended up being admitted to the hospital the very weekend I was supposed to be away). They told me it would take a couple of weeks to process the refund. I was not hearing back so I tried several times to get updates and then was told I would not be receiving a refund because I was being "aggressive"?? I was just asking for my money back and was not receiving updates. He continued to make excuses saying there were issues with my credit card (it was paid via debit card, not credit card), then there were issues with his third-party insurance company and then it was because I was being persistent. He offered to pay me 75% of my money back but that is unacceptable and I hardly think he would even honour that. I paid $44 cancellation insurance fee and expect a FULL refund. I gave plenty of notice of cancellation before the event.
