I am trying to port my domain name to a different carrier. Although currently, my account is up to date with a positive balance, they demand that I pay a $150 (security deposit) to restore my email server long enough to port the domain to another carrier.I owe them nothing and the domain name is my property. I need them to forgo the security deposit and allow me to port(transfer) my domain name to a different ISP. They are using the security deposit to punish me. This is not legal with telephone port requests nor with domain names. Please, I need my domain name returned to me.

I joined Nexicom under the assumption of when services were cancelled I would have to return the equipment to their location. They decided to shut down their office here and then expected me to drive an hour to drop off their equipment. They refused to send me a shipping label to have it mailed and expected me to take on the extra expenses because they decided to close down this office here in Lindsay.
Not only was I not getting the speeds I paid for, for the entire duration of being a customer, I have never missed a payment. I was under the assumption the remainder of the month would be credited and paid for because they had my direct deposit information. I don't recall being told my direct deposit information would be erased and I would have to pay it manually.
They should have put it in the terms if the office closes people would have to drive to the next location or endure the costs of mailing the equipment. I feel scammed and if I had known I would have never purchased their services to begin with. The least they could have done was send a shipping label or have a drop off box for this location. I know two other people whom this is effecting. They have now sent this to collections on which I will be looking to dispute.

A couple years ago we signed a 3 year term for $99 a month to have internet at our shop, which at the time was our office as well. Shortly after we moved to our permanent office, not supported by Nexicom so we got another provider. We continued to pay our bill each month at the shop location, and eventually when we rented out our shop we started charging that ****** the $99.

Last year they started calling us and asking us if we want to upgrade to Fibe, I kept saying no as it was more money for a slower speed, then it started being more of a demand than a sales pitch.

I stopped communicating with them as at this point I was in a contract for another 18 months, at $99 per month for 100mb/s

Around August they cut our services off my wife continued to pay the bill each month until November. ****** called Nexicom at this point to get their own service, Nexicom called me to verify I was okay with this, I said yes, we havn't had service for a couple months.

We had a conversation about how they are in fact in breach of the contract, I am on a 3 year contract, at a set price and service. The Irony is the new ****** is now paying $40 more than I was for slower speeds, on a new contract so in the end they came out way ahead, but still want to somehow come after me for not agreeing to sign up for the new speed and price, but rather hold them to our initial agreement. How can they hold me to a contract, they broke. As of today I still don't have a $1 overdue and have paid each and every month for NO SERVICE

Today, (yup 2.5 months LATER) I get a bill for December/January service so I call, assuming its a mistake. Nope, even the rep I spoke to that ran it up to his manager in November was floored by the absolutely idiotic stance they are taking. They are billing a $900 cancelation charge to me, for an account I never missed a payment on, OR cancelled... rather they just simply decided not to provide that service to my address anymore.
