    From the moment the plumber arrived, he was trying to sell me things I didn't need instead of focusing on what I actually need. After some unwarranted sales pitches, he finally agreed to only do the 4 things I needed; change 2 toilet shut-off valves, change the backyard valve and change one toilet fill valve. He got through the first 3 pretty quickly to be honest, but then with the toilet fill valve it took him more than an hour, but he kept saying because it's an old, it was more difficult, which is fair. He also used his saw to cut through the old fill valve because it was stuck and he couldn't take it off. After that he Installed the new one and we thought everything was good. After he left, I noticed that the intake valve of the toilet he worked on started leaking. So I shut off the toilet supply and called them the next day, they apologized and said the plumber would be back between 3pm-6pm to fix the issue. At 6pm, no one had shown up so I called them again because I had to leave, they apologized again and we scheduled a time for the following day. When the plumber arrived the following, he took 1 look at the issue, and then spent 10 minutes trying to sell me things I didn't need, again, like changing the entire toilet or paying 'only $60/month' to install water softener, instead of focusing on the issue on hand. I then told him I'm not looking to spend any money today, I just need the toilet fixed. He then proceeded to explain that this was a pure coincidence and that the other plumber's work on the fill valve didn't have anything to do with the intake valve leaking, even though the other plumber spent 1 hour banging on and cutting through the old fill valve, and that I would have to pay more than $300 to get a new valve! I didn't let him do it but now I have to get someone else and pay more money to fix what Hy-pro's plumber (or saleman not sure) messed up! Very disappointing, wouldn't recommend.
