    On May 29, 2023, I was given a verbal quote on-site by one of the plumbers from Plumbing Dunn Right, to unclog a drain that was overflowing in the basement. I was told that snaking it and hydro scrub should do the trick and things will be like new again so, therefore, we agreed on site as per the verbal quote of $1600 including tax to complete the job. (Did not receive the actual quote in hand or via email) The company came out the next day May 30, 2023, at approx 11 am or 12ish and about an hour later informed me that they could not unclog the drain and required the boss to come out to give me another quote. I was also informed on the phone to pay 700 dollars for a job that was not completed or was not able to fix it by them. It seems like a **** to me for them to come out again just to give me another quote to complete the job. They never said if it was this or that. I understood it will be like new after they hydro-scrub it but yet they say it was something else. At first, they said this would be the best solution to resolve this issue for the price of $1600 original quote (which I thought was high but needed to get it fix anyway). Now I'm billed with an invoice of $700 for nothing. I do not want them to give me quote after quote after quote. * *** *** ********** *** ******* *** * ** ********** *** ** *** ****** ***. Could you please help me? As I feel that I’m being taken advantage of

    Good morning, as you have stated, yes the Hydro scrubbing SHOULD do the trick. We spent 3 hours trying to get the line clear but it was plumbed incorrectly and there was likely a break underground. We did not install this incorrect plumbing. We gave you a 50% discount on the work that we did and tried multiple times to book you in to give an estimate on a permanent repair. You chose not to get a permanent solution and you have not paid the invoice when you agreed to the cost prior to work beginning. We are sorry you feel this way but unfortunately we could not predict underground issues which we explained to you over the phone.

    I am rejecting this response because: Yes you called once that is not consider multiple times.  And secondly there no way I would allowed you to do the permanent repair as to what the outcome of the first one as I'm assuming the second bill will quadruple in price. NO thank you.  IF you called that 50% discount for the work that was and can not be completed as promises then so be it.  That was on me.  If all that you care for was for me to pay the invoice but not how unsatisfied I'm with the service then consider the bill be paid.  I would never recommend your company and I hope the BBB will publish this complaint for other to see the kind of service that was provide by your company and to what your company only cares for, the money not the customer.  Thank you
