Purchased a 3-class session with Gigglypanda Spa in November 2023 for $304 and only redeemed 1 session, and the business unexpectedly closed on January 15 2024 by notifying customers via email with little to no information on next steps or what will happen to unused classes. I bought a 10 pack massage/hydrotherapy session for my baby for $1000. The employees encourage you to do so, claiming their services are covered by all insurance. This is simply not the case, as my claims have been rejected by ********* ****. I have been fighting for a refund with them *** ** ******* ************** but to no avail. They said they are working on the issue with *********, and to hold off coming in until the issue has been resolved. On January 13, 2024, they emailed us asking for a donation as they are in financial trouble. Then on January 15th, 2024, we were sent another email letting us know they have permanently closed. We were not notified any financial difficulties at any other time. I started sending my baby to Giggly Panda Baby Spa (Concord location ** **** ****** *** *) since September 2023. I was encouraged by the staff to purchase a 10-session package for $858.80. We have not finished the 10 sessions. On Jan 6, 2024, during our last visit, the staff was still trying to sell us another 10-session package.
Then on Jan 12, the spa suddenly sent us 2 emails asking for donations, and then another 2 emails on Saturday. We tried to reach the spa 30 times but no one answered the phone. I managed to reach the Mississauga location during the weekend, the staff told me the Concord location had been closed and she booked me another session on Jan 18 in Mississauga.
However on Jan 15, we received 2 emails from Concord and Mississauga locations, both were announced to be permanently closed, without any plan to refund customers for unused sessions. The communication has been completely shut down. No one answers phones or emails. The website has been shut down.

I purchased their membership packages on Apr 2023, for $452.00 at the baby show. This is a 5 times massage package for babies. I used 4 of them and I have 1 left, now the business is permanently closed without further notice, no plans for membership holders. And we can't reach out by email or phone. I am rejecting this response because:I completely disagree with what the owner said. My membership was extended until January 31st. I even scheduled appointments for January to use it. You can't say I had the opportunity to use it and didn't. The fact is your store was abruptly closed on January 15th with no prior notice. In this situation, how am I able to use my sessions?
