I have $100 worth of Community Gift Cards. I went on to the **************** website, which is administered by the Port Credit BIA, to find out where I could use the cards and noticed that I could use them at a restaurant named "*****". My wife and I attended *****, ordered dinner and when it came time to pay, we handed over the gift cards. The General Manager then visited our table and told us that the cards were not valid at that restaurant. He added that he went on to the website and saw that the restaurant was listed as a place where the cards could be used, but that he had never seen the program before. He told us that he had been working at the store for years and that no one had ever discussed the program with him but that it looked like a good program.

The next day I called up the Port Credit BIA, but received no answer. After two weeks of trying to get a hold of them I received an email from Stacey O***** stating that the restaurant should have accepted the cards, but since the General Manager was new, he may not know about the program. I explained that the GM had been working there for years, but she ignored this fact. We then had to pay out of pocket for the dinner. ** ****** *** ****** ** *** **** ** ****** *** ***** ** *** *******
It has been over a month, and every time I ask for a follow-up on the situation, I get a reply that says that they are "extremely busy' and that they will provide more information soon.

I still have the cards, I don't know where I can use these cards and the Port Credit BIA is unwilling to effectively respond to the issue. They admit that they are a legitimate business and that the program is theirs but refuse to resolve the issue.
