      This complaint is about CIMT College, *** ********** ******, Hamilton, Ontario  *** **** I applied for PSW program at this school. It was supposed to start on Feb 3, 2025. There was another school starting on Jan 29, 2025, calling me to submit my registration documents and join them. But CIMT quickly offered me a conditional admission. The condition was that I pay a $500 tuition deposit. The Admissions Advisor (Sandeep R****) did not at anytime mention that I could not start until I had 2 shots of covid vaccine. He rather rushed me to make the $500 payment which I did on January 30, 2025. He advised on that same day, that my class login details would be emailed to me. On Feb 3, I did not receive the link and when I called he said he would get back to me. He came back and said his manager said I would need to have 2 doses of covid vaccine before I can start. I had already taken the first shot on January 29 and the pharmacist advised that according to the new health Canada law, that one shot is sufficient. They insisted the pharmacist put that in writing for his manager. I requested and the pharmacist wrote an email to that effect. However, Sandeep still said his manager had reviewed the pharmacist's note and still insists on me having a 2nd dose. And he said his recommendation is for me to start in March so I can get second dose.*** **** ***** * ***** **** **** *** **** *** ***** ******* *** **** ******** ********* ***** ***** ******* *********** **** ** * *** ******** **** ***** I requested a refund of my tuition deposit and ****** ******* ********* *********** *** ********* He said it is not refundable. I insisted that he did not advise me of the covid requirement during registration and also did not tell me the deposit was not refundable.       I have decided to pick a course with this college and on 01/07/2023 I have made an ******** payment of $799.00 to them hoping to start on January 14 2023. However, College cancelled the course the day before it was supposed to start on January 13, 2023, claiming broken heating at the facility and offered me a new course in April, this timing was not acceptable and I decided to cancel, filled out a cancellation form only to find out that college will only reimburse me with $299.00 out $799! ********* **** ******* *** **** ******** ** **** ***** ** ********** ** **** ******* **** ** ****** **** ** **** ****** *** **** *** **** ***** ** *** **** **** **** **** *************** ***** Charging $500 for so called "Administrative fees" ** ******* ******** *** ** ***** **** **** ********* ** **** * ******** *********** ******* *** *** **** ******* ** ******* *** ******* ****** ****** ** ***********
