      So basically started dealing with them Jan 25, 2022 and all they did is charge me around $1700 to connect me to a legal insolvency company which it turns out I could have done without them. For free. And they required me to pay them first before I could start paying the LIT ( whom, by the way does all of the other things debtreview.ca claims to do for their steep fees, like stopping creditors from contacting you, negotiating terms for repayment, if that's the option you choose, etc.) So it took me months of paying them ( noteworthy, I actually needed to borrow more money in order to make said steep payments to them) before I could even begin my actual debt relief. By the way it is also worth noting when I reached out to debtreview.ca I had not even missed one payment yet on any of my debt. I have literally never felt more ****** off in my life and wish they would just refund me the money they took as payment for not advising me to just go speak to a LIT in person. They couldn't even get my credit information right, and I think I wouldn't have made the same choices had I talked to an actual knowledgeable professional from the start. Can honestly say that to this very day going through them is my biggest regret in life, and I still think about it all the time. Also, I've had 2 emails from them since Feb 2022 once in May 2023 and again in August 2023 and they were both just about the same prepaid credit card application. Other than that I have never heard from them again. Totally not worth the financial hardship, especially if your situation is in no way complex and you haven't even had to deal with creditors or missed a payment. So sad, please people don't be fooled like I was, do your research!
