      I called the company and spoke with some young girl named April about a month ago, I have tried to call back and leave a message but it seems my number has been blocked. My husband and I were looking to have a quote done regarding our front and backyard renovations and looking to have a pool installed. The first question she asked was is your budget around 100k, I was taken back as I've never been asked my budget for a project before. My husband and I were looking to have a quote done and she mentioned to us that unless we can fork up 100k its not worth the time to have a quote done. *** * ***** ** ****** ***** * ****** *** ** ******* ** ********** I was shook that she was talking to us about budget. I surely have the funds or we wouldn't be looking into having a house renovation along with pool. *** ***** ******* *** ****** ******* * *** **** ** ****** **** *** **** **** **** **** ** ****** ** **** **** ******** ******

      We contracted with Markstone Landscaping Ltd in 2021 to increase the curb appeal of our home. The driveway is a disaster and detracts from rather than adds to the curb appeal. Our home had better curb appeal with the original asphalt drive. The pictures tell the story. All we got in response to many phone calls and emails was a visit from a technician in 2022 who sprayed the driveway for 2 hours which worsened rather than addressed the issues. The driveway is spotty, blotchy, with areas that look downright dirty like a shabby powerwash done a footprint in the concrete, and the border colours don't match. Overall a shoddy job, that aggravates us every time we see the driveway. Definitely not what we signed up for. Other than placatory emails, none of our complaints have been addressed. Let the buyer beware, they are welcome to visit our driveway before doing business with this company. Would not touch them with a bargepole!!! If Markstone feel they had done justice, we ask them to post our driveway pictures on their brochure, and see if they get any further business!!
