      Installed metal roof vent into garage, not the kitchen attic behind the garage of residential home as requested. Pre-installation, a photo was sent with a hand drawn circle marking the location of the vent to be installed. I repeated that the vent was for attic, not the garage and assumed that the photo was approximate location since there were no measurement markings on the photo. The company blamed me for the wrong location since the photo marked the location (again, no measurements were marked on the photo). The roof vent was installed bordering the edge of the posterior garage wall (in other words, about 80-90% of the circular vent was in the garage with a small posterior portion above the wall separating the garage and kitchen). The company also stated that the installer would not have known that he was installing into the car garage, not the attic. I assume that it would be obvious when he cut and removed a part of the roof whether he was looking into an attic or car garage.
      The installer completed the job and left, and I assumed (and trusted) that everything was satisfactory.

      ***** *********** of ****** ************ ****** Inc (*****@******************) who recommended the roofing company discussed with Toronto Roofing Inc for compensation on my behalf, but they again refused any responsibility for the wrongful location installation.

      Also, they replaced bathroom exhaust vent x 2.
      After the installation, 1 of the bathroom fans has not operated.

      I am requesting assistance only with the roof vent compensation ($350 + tax).
