    ***** *** **** ****. It is my second APC unit that I have problem with. It had indicated battery replacement, so I bought a battery. With new battery unit is not working completely, not from power source not from battery. I requested support and for a week no answer. When I called and indicated return, finally I got a response, but completely useless. They did not take time to review, just responded with a common set of procedures.
    I want to return the battery BUT:
    - They have to kindly agree for return, they can easily say no.
    - There is a restocking fee and I have to pay shipping, so it will probably cost me more to return it the to just recycle it.
    It is a shame and no respect to customer, and environment.

    Purchased a *** from APC directly with a trade up plan. Only to find out I could buy directly from ****** and safe $100+. I was asked to do a purchase review and I stated this, which in turn produced an email saying: Sorry: We hope that you can still allow us the opportunity to assist you for a trade up option. Please let us know a preferred time that we can call you back. After several chats to question this I got this message " Cherry May (2023-06-06, 9:37:08 AM): I see. ****** is actually one of our retailers. They can sell our units cheaper because they order from us directly in bulk. While we are on the manufacturing side. And we are making sure that if the unit was purchased from us directly the units are freshly out from the factory and not sitting in shelf and in stock as we also have to consider the shelf life of the battery.

    Which is in my opinion, saying the same product you buy at ****** or another reseller is sub standard. I asked about getting the price difference as a credit, or returning the unit for a full rebate and they refused... Don't get me wrong, the product is great, I have about 4 of them in my home, but buyer beware, cheaper to buy from ******, ******, or ******* than to buy from Schneider Electric Direct even with their trade up program.
