    I brought my daughter to get her hair styled for her first communion. We were happy with the service until I checked the bill. A $2 charge for PPE and sanitization was on the bill without informing me. Neither of the stylists were wearing PPE. And sanitizing should occur at every station anyway. **** ** **** * ********** *** **** *** ******** ***** *** ** **** ** ******* ** ****** ***** ** * ***** ** *** ***** I was also charged wash and set for $75 and my hair was not washed. First and last time at la vita.

    As being a first comer to our salon we are sorry for the misunderstanding, but when you had come in on April 15th your daughter was booked for an updo and you were booked for a simple style which gets booked under a wash and set, and when you arrived you showed me a half up half down hair-do which is considered an updo in our system. Our updos start from $75-$150, and the wash is not included, the reason it was listed as a wash and set on the receipt was because the receptionist didn’t change the service on our system so the receipt showed you got a wash and set which starts from $40+, in regards to the PPE charge it was only charged on one bill for one person not both and it is not a charge because of Covid, when you called later that evening on April 15th the receptionist had explained to you that the PPE charge covers recycling, garbage, our coffee services etc. We value all of our customers feedback, we are sorry for the misunderstanding and wish you the best.
