    We took a taxi from this company on an evening in early April (2025) from Billy Bishop Airport to a city location about 7 km away. The driver was friendly, and chatty. But when the trip ended, the fare he asked for was about double what we had expected, based on previous taxi experiences from this airport to similar destinations. It was also then that we realised that he hadn't even turned on the meter . Since we had not noticed before that the meter was not running, I decided not to argue, and to simply pay. But I later discovered that the 'flat rate' charged was double what it should have been. Definitely not impressed...

    This company and independent cab owner/ driver ***** ** **** ** ** turning off the meter just before reaching my destination. Then tried charging me $30 more than I saw on my meter before he shut it off. My ride that was only 18 kms long with zero traffic. Once I mentioned that he was wrong for over charging me and that I saw he was wrong and he is not allowed to turn off the meter before I paid. He still over charged me $20 more and mentioned it was for his tax and tip! ********** ********* *** ***** ** ** ******** He refused to give me his business card, gave me a blank paper receipt with no details and therefore, I had to obtain his company information from my **** charges. * ******* ****** ***** **** ******** *** *** *** *** ** * *** ***** *** ***** ******** ** *** ***** *** ******* * ***** *** **** *** * **** *** *** ****** ** ****** *** ** *** **** **** ****** ** ***** ** ***** ******
