    We've been at Carson's Camp for 22 years and have always enjoyed our stay there. In August 2023, we booked and had called ahead to find out if dogs were allowed on Sauble beach. The staff member that answered told us there was a designated area on the beach for dogs so we showed up for the week. We have a tent trailer with no air conditioning and when we learned on our second day that the information we received was inaccurate, we informed them we could no longer stay because of the information we were given because we could not leave our dog in the trailer while we went to the beach, as it would be unsafe temperature wise for the dog. We asked for a refund and received it. This year, we requested a reservation and it was declined. We had email exchanges in which we tried to let them know that the only reason we left was because of the issue with no dogs being allowed on the beach. Our email also noted other issues with the campground, i.e., showers not working, etc. Upon conversing with Lisa (the owner) recently over the phone, she said as per her staff that we were ********** (untrue) at the time of checkout when we were just frustrated at the ********** information. We explained that we'd like to continue camping there if we left our dog at home and she refused, telling us to go to other campgrounds. She spoke over us, while we calmly explained our viewpoint. She claimed we had ongoing disappointments in the campground which is false. *** ***** ** ********** * ** **** **** ************ **** **** ***********  She ** **** ******* ********** *** refused to listen and be accountable for anything that was an error on their part.
