    Not worth 5000 dollars. Not even Wifi included. Dirty bathrooms. Was not what we were told it would be. We asked for pro rating as we didnt want to stay. They refused. We paid 5000 dollars and leaving after 2 months. Ridiculous.

    Hi *****, thanks for sharing your concerns with BBB and Sun Retreats Hay Bay.We are a seasonal RV resort only, so all reservations will be for the season and are non-refundable after booking/payment as you have now reserved that site for the season your own enjoyment. With unexpected vacancies mid-season, we decided to pivot and offer overnight rates starting at $58/night, so your 2-month stay would have costed $3,480 +HST. You reserved our Supreme sites for the 6-months at $4,120 +HST. As you are vacating mid-season, seasonal fees are not typically refundable, yet your on-site Manager ********* has advised that we would attempt to back-fill the vacancy, and upon successful back-fill, would refund the pro-rated amount once it was back-filled. We do have a Wi-Fi Hotspot at the Pavilion which was mentioned in the Seasonal Information Package which is sent out prior to booking.Our property has a dedicated team member that detail cleans the Washroom facilities daily, and if anything requires attention, we appreciate it when our guests bring it to our prompt attention by calling, emailing or visiting to office, so we may attend promptly to rectify any guest concerns.We apologize for not meeting your expectations of providing overnight options when you reserved back in April, as its not typically a service we provide as a seasonal resort. Please visit our ********************* if you require further assistance and to obtain support in pursuing the previously suggested solution of back-filling the site with our ***** Services team.
