    ***** **** Repair and Recycling- cost exceeded estimate and parts improperly installed !! I brought my car to ***** **** Repair and Recycling for front-end repairs, including ball joints, tie rods, and an axle. I agreed to their written estimate, which allowed me to provide my own parts. However, when I picked up my car, they had added over 2 hours of labor and increased the hourly rate from $135 to $150 without notifying me. The manager explained that the repair took longer than expected and required full payment before releasing my car. After the repair, my car made a loud clunking noise when turning. I had it inspected at a car dealership, where they found that the outer tie rods were incorrectly installed, the ball joint bolt was not tightened, and the grease fittings were not greased. While ***** eventually acknowledged their mistakes and corrected them, the overall experience was unsatisfactory. I recommend considering other shops for your car repairs.

    The extra time was also your vehicle sitting on the hoist for couple hours while we waited for Caps to delivery your own parts. So thats down time to us. We also have a different price for when a customer brings their own parts as we loose the markup that we would charge selling a part ourselves. We also installed an the opposite side front axle on your vehicle at no charge to you when you returned with your concerns. Sorry for the experience you received and we'll take your feedback and use it to improve
