  Last spring, we had water penetrating through a crack in the foundation. The Sturdy House was one of four companies that provided a quote for waterproofing it and, because of the attention to detail in their quote (which gave us a peace of mind that the job will be done without corners cut) we selected Sturdy House to waterproof our foundation from the inside and outside. The owner, ****** ******* proved to be a very hardworking person (as digging by hand under the deck was required due to a well pipe and an electrical conduit running in the work area), reliable and respectful of our property. He ensured no damage was done to the house or the surrounding garden area. All items as per quote were meticulously addressed with pictures sent to our phones as the work was progressing. The work area was left spotless once the job was done. Nice to see an honest and reliable company like Sturdy House.

  ****** put a sump pump in my basement. In so doing, he called upon professionals (including family members) to do the outside parging and the drywalling. In other words, with ****** you get a one stop shop. He also explains the work from A to Z and in detail prior to starting and explained and answered my many questions along the way. He is easy to communicate with and honest. He did an excellent, thorough and professional job. I would definitely use him and his team again for future work.

  ****** knows his business. I hired him to pour a concrete slab for a garden shed. He showed up and did an excellent job in the promised timeframe. He ensured the job site was well organized and ************** ** afterwards. He clearly enjoys his work and was always willing to answer questions. I will hire him to repair my front steps next year without hesitation.

  In September 2022 I hired Sturdy House to excavate my existing garage floor (12), supply and compact new stone (6), install wire mesh reinforcement, and pour a new concrete slab (6). They also removed and disposed of existing patio stone pathway, excavated (10), supplied/compacted new stone, and poured a new 4 concrete walkway. In addition, they demoed two sets of old patio stone stairs, and formed/poured new concrete stairs. *** (Sturdy House Owner/Operator) was a true professional all the way through the project. He was easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the final product. It was clear working with *** that he is an honest, knowledgeable, and experienced professional who is passionate about what he does. I would 100% recommend Sturdy House to anyone in the ****** area.
